- The third round of the 2022 Downhill MTB World Cup returned to the Alpine valley of Leogang. The Austrian track has become one of the biggest contributors to DH history, as drama continues to unravel between the tapes at this iconic venue.

With the introduction of the notorious wood's section in 2020, this venue has taken on a whole new meaning for those who dare to race it. During the 2022 battle, it was defending Leogang winner, Camille Balanche who managed to put down a clean run to best her competitors and snatch gold. In the men's, 2020 World Cup overall winner, Matt Walker, put down an untouchable run to secure his first ever World Cup win.

Rob Warner... f..ing legend. his commentary makes the sport even more enjoyable. Hes not only the best commentator in MTB but honestly one of the best commentators in all sports period. definetly up there with legends like murray walker

Unpopular opinion: Rob Warner is annoying af. I can handle about two runs of his contrived screaming before I mute it.
My english it's so so. But I prefer Rob, than new spanish commentarys. I need emotion 100%

Excellent racing this week-end!!! To see the GOAT go down was rare and seeing top Coulanges crash at the end was some true edge of the saddle racing. So props to all.

definitely, the track was getting harder packed as the sun was out longer, the later riders totally got an advantage.. happy for danny hart and aaron gwin on their runs..

Yep but that’s how it goes in downhill, on the other hand sometimes the track/conditions can deteriorate as time goes on making it more challenging for later riders. One of the unique and interesting features of this amazing sport!

@@GaedeRafael UCI has sold bradcasting rights to warner brothers/ discovery so redbull wont be doing covarage next year! I guess there will still be a warner involved sort off!
@@GaedeRafael redbull will no longer host UCI World Cup MTB races come 2023. The rights have been passed on to Discovery/Eurosport.
@@GaedeRafael I wouldn't be too sure honestly, they have done a very good job with road for a good long while. Let's not knock it till we try it.

Redbull TV puts out a condensed show as a replay they do edit alot out to make a 1 hour+ show ....only way to catch entire show is record the live stream yourself or watch it live...

so they basically carried truck loads of mud down the mountain on the bikes and clothes for a few days till there was none left on the mountain and then they raced :}

Female commentator knows her stuff, but the guy needs to go......time to turn off the volume and just watch the amazing riding.
One of the few things I do not like about these events, the chainless chainsaw noises. Why? Really, just why? It's a sound that doesn't really relate to biking. It's not like the bikes are cutting down trees so to me it's not a sound that fits the sport.

pls pls pls change Cedric Gracia out of the french commentary of the DH ! he is not a commentator, has only 4 or 5 typical comments that he says in loop mode : il est chaud, il est propre, etc… he lives the race but this is not a fan that is expected, i’d rather prefer english commentators, much more instructive and CALM , Cedric is yelling all the time. xco/xcc french commentators are much better.

Commentators: why not two female commentators for the women’s runs; there’s not ever a woman commentator with the men’s runs, always two male commentators! Either add a gal to the fellas’ runs or remove the dude from the chicks’ or only use the best regardless of gender…equal representation across the board or completely by merit, none of this half measured bs.

Could probably turn that into a sport! And have as many commentators as you want, representing the entire universe!
