I've always been a fan of street food - eat from those far more than I do restaurants - and you get to know the vendors - many have been doing it years and years so you know their food is probably going to be safe
Hey Chris! That’s such a tough question, they are very similar in many ways. Cambodian food seems a bit less oily & less sugary, it’s also got more veg. But there are some Thai dishes we miss a lot!
If it doesn't move, just eat it especially with the grill food. We've never had any problems so far. We always carry diarrhea pills with us just in case we need them. Enjoy it. Peace ✌️
Hello! Wifi is really good in Phnom Penh, Siem Reap has also been good but we have stayed in hotels there where it’s been a bit slow. Mattresses have been pretty typical Asian mattresses, mostly on the harder side I’d say.
The thing about street food is the ingredients rarely have time to go bad. In restaurants, a lot of times they keep things in a fridge for way longer than they should.
I lived in south east asia for half a dozen years and never got sick from street food. Like you say why would you. Just because a country might appear less well off than yours doesn't mean the food is dirty. It's just snobbery. Wish I could get a proper bowl of Pho in the uk.
Exactly right. We had seen a few videos questioning the safety of these foods and just wanted to give a differing opinion. Maybe one day! Or just swing back to SEA!
Thank you so much for sharing this video. I'm planning a trip there next year and didn't know if the street food was safe to eat.. Can you tell me the name of the restaurant where the "big seats" were?
Hello! I’m not sure what the name is but it’s on the same street as the Art Centre Night market… most of the tables and chairs down there are more suitable for tall people 😊😂
I am very jealous! I would love to be in Cambodia eating street food. Cambodia is on my bucket list (Anchor Wat) so when I make it there I will be having some street food.
Yes, you are right. The street food in Asia is very safe to eat .Make sure it's hot, and as Sarah said that if the sea food smells, just walk away. Anyway you spolit for choice .Nice one guys.👍👍👍🇹🇭🇹🇭
Nothing wrong with street food .if it is cooked well in front of you fresh. Thanks for sharing your videos.i am happy to see Sean as vip guest 😀 love you all from Dallas tx
Great variety of food and a nice atmosphere. Haven’t had any street food issues thus far . Key elements , anything cooked in front of you , just watch how long they cook it & if you want it cooked longer , they will 👍 Also anything in a wok , as long as they change the oil , it’s happy days & nights - Nice work people ✔️🤠✌️👋👍🙏
Streetfood is safer to eat. They cook in front of you. You dont know whats going on out the back in resto kitchens
Yes 100% this! We’ve only ever been sick from eating in restaurants in Asia.
The way to eat street food safely is when you watch it cooked fresh in front of you anything hanging around in the heat with all the flies is a no no.
Yep we agree! Street food is always steaming hot too 🙌🏽

That's a good way to be! It's nice to have a meal most times, but sometimes enjoying bits and pieces is a good way to go!
Which food do you guys prefer Cambodia or Thai? Or are they world's apart in taste and appearance? I like the idea of lots of veg.
