The audience is all TOP fans. They came from a mailing list. invites were sent to individuals based on zip code local to MTV studios. The blue haired girl posted a bit about it. All their phones were locked away and they were not alowed to sing or make noice other than when cued. Tyler is very sassy with the clique, we know to expect it. 😂
I love what they did with Car Radio. I would love to see this live. It wasn’t hard to make it to the end. It’s so good it feels a lot shorter than it is 😊❤
Hey! Thanks for the MTV unplugged. Glad you commented on the eye contact and cues. They had to practice for this one, Josh never sings, and learned keys for this. Josh even had more keybords than Tyler for this set.

As I'm sure you've read in the comments, this is a first for Josh singing with Tyler. The Clique went into shock right away! I know i would have had ahard time staying seated and not singing and dancing along if I were in that audience! And true, it's really hard to pick fave versions, which is also what we love at live shows. We have a very discerning ear and can pick up on even the subtle changes. That said, I really, really want a whole album of this Shy Away version songs!! You should def check out some of their earlier outings, too. Favorite from this set is Car Radio / Heathens mash up folled by Stressed Out. I agree, these songs are just different. Tyler likes the challenge of changing it up.
“Where’s the dudes” TOPs audience is mostly depressed young girls. Not exclusively of course. But the vast majority are young ladies that are struggling.
