Yes! That's my mall in the movies. I grew up in Rowland Heights and I remember seeing them filming Back to the future at night in front of what was then Robinson's. Thank you!
@@adamclark9004 I grew up near Puente Hills Mall and remember the night filming in either late 84 or early 85. I visited PHM just two weeks ago to catch a movie at AMC. I almost cried at how dead it was. I have so many memories of the place as a kid and teen.
In 2015, the year Marty went to the future, they had a big event celebrating BTTF at this location. Giant screen showing the movie, and C. Lloyd doing a video call, the crowd went crazy when he said "Great Scott".
gosh I really wanted to come to this event, glad you went and captured this historic event in the back to the future fandom for all of us, I'm there in spirit German!!!
Looks like this event turned out great. It's amazing how creative people were with their costumes, cars, models and dogs. I saw the movie when it first came out. I still watch it today. I enjoyed the video GIV. As always, thank you for sharing your day. I look forward to your next vlog.
Damn, I forgot again. Thanks for doing a great job covering it. Doc Brown has the look and the voice ! I'll be there next year, it keeps getting bigger. Keep GiVing.😉
Hi Mike i'm Louis from Mexico i just saw this video and it's just woderful all about Back to the future is Great. Thanks for giving us the chance to live Great momentns through your videos and you good vibrations . Blessings

That is so cool bro German Venice you're there at the twin pine Mall where Marty McFly and doc Brown anyways that was really cool to see thank you so much for sharing I wish I was there anyways have a great night be safe sincerely Suszie ♥️
Me and a buddy of mine went to this once but when we got there everyone seemed to panic and leave. It's as if they never saw two guys in an old VW bus before!
Mike I’ve seen several of these on Adam’s channel but I’ve never remembered the guy’s name that plays Doc Brown. He is a LEGEND !! Great Fun Video Mike. Thank You.
I remember visiting my friend Andrew Probert when he was working at Universal on BTTF, designing the DeLorean mods and the logo. Also got to see the 1885 BTTF sets back in the 1990s...near Jamestown, CA., from the train.
The video was verry cool. I love back to the future and I also went the the musical in London. The musical was so cool to see. Greetings from the Netherlands.
We watched your videos with such pleasure. The movie BACK TO THE FUTURE is the most powerful feeling that I experienced from watching. I wanted so much to be there, together with you, in this legendary place, next to a replica, but a dream car. I have SUBSCRIBED - I will be happy to watch your next videos. Thanks!
Wow the movie has been out longer then Marty went back to 1955 , cant believe how time just goes by so quick! Cool video , never knew there is a gathering at the mall.
My friends and I were out cruising past the puente hills mall in the 80s and saw them filming this movie. All they did was take the car in and out of a trailer, no stars around and we left. Lol but yeah it was cool to see that. Tina yothers from family ties used to hang out in that mall too.
My gramps built some houses near there in the 1950s, and my dad had a small horse farm in Rowland Heights around the time when they filmed BTTF. Good memories.
Nice, I used to live across the street from that mall. I was in high school when that movie came out. Me and a friend went to the set one evening before they started filming. I didn’t see too much but I did see the car. They made a prop head of the dog for him in the car.
Very fun to see. Hope you enjoy reliving that scene, Michael. That Doc Brown is a good one. Glad you showed up for this, I did. Is this an annual event?
Man looks so cool! I think Back to the Future is probably the best trilogy of movies ever made and the first movie is among my favorite movies ever! Wish I was there!
The Doc Brown guy is really good, not only does he look the part he has Doc Brown’s manner of speech nailed. He could work as a lookalike if already doesn’t.
GIV great video as always. I love that you came back to my old neighborhood. Just a nitpick, but the name is PUENTE HILLS MALL, with an S!!! There are lots of hills in the area in any timeline!
Awesome video, really cool with this Back to the future annual event. The levels of ingenuity and realism the fans go to is absolutely awesome. What I would like to see is some fan getting the exact model VW van the Libyan’s had and dressing up like them and coming into the parking lot shooting blanks out of a AK47 prop gun through the roof like in the movie. Man that would be so cool and everyone would love it. Maybe next year.
As a kid from the 80s. This is cool AF!
the 70's approve your comment
Indeed
You're a kid from the 80s? Wow, Deloreans make anything possible 😉
It was great meeting you my friend! I have the video up on my channel also featuring this night! Enjoyed your video!
Yes! That's my mall in the movies. I grew up in Rowland Heights and I remember seeing them filming Back to the future at night in front of what was then Robinson's. Thank you!
Robinson's on the left, JCPenney on the right. There was an old AMC 6 Theater just north of this parking lot. I used to work there.
La Puente Hills Mall?
@@pipertarin68 No "La" in the mall name. Just "Puente Hills Mall".
Then became “Lone Pine Mall” after he knocked the tree down 😂. My father in law has a Delorean and he was there for the 2015 celebration with the car.
aww the good ol' Puente Hills Mall! that was the place back in the 80's!
Did you go there back then?
@@adamclark9004 I grew up near Puente Hills Mall and remember the night filming in either late 84 or early 85. I visited PHM just two weeks ago to catch a movie at AMC. I almost cried at how dead it was. I have so many memories of the place as a kid and teen.

Here in Australia in Wallsend NSW they had a back to the he future festival. Had props and everything setup.
Wow that looks like so much fun to drive that car. That would be a blast!
This Doc Brown impersonator is always my favorite. The get togethers wouldn't be the same without him.

The guy with the cake doin Marty's dad was funny!🤣🤣👏👍✌️
The kids of the parents who loved the 50s nostalgia of this film are now their parent’s age enjoying the 80s nostalgia of this film. A perfect circle.
