Thats because Paramount mostly kept the films in the basic standard of what they were and didn't try much to change anything. They would add new elements like Jason being a zombie or a psychic or him in the city but the style and Jason himself always remained the same.

Tina remains the final girl with the best theme music out of this franchise...not that I can think of any other final girls that HAD their own leitmotifs, but still...I like the music.
I miss the Paramount days of these movies. The soundtracks. The Jason look. Everything was better under Paramount's umbrella.

Series ended with Jason takes Manhattan. All the blu ray and DVD collections only have 1-8, new line stuff isn’t canon as far as I know.
