Poor little elephant- you could just see the fear in this baby's eyes when she was held down & treated. SO glad to see her doing better. I hope that she was reunited with her mom!

@@brendamanning5235 Talking soothingly? Seriously? That little poopaphant/calf wanted dung very badly. If that guy is so compassionate, then why isn't he stuffing the little calf's mouth + trunk full with adult female elephant dung? Why aren't they constantly rubbing/smearing dung all over the little calf's face and body like it needs and wants? A calf is entirely dependent on dung. That calf wanted them to stuff it's face full with dung, and it wanted them to rub dung all over it's face, little trunk, and body. Without dung, a calf will cry constantly, become confused, brokenhearted, and very terrified. This is very dangerous and often ends up fatal for a little calf. I seriously apologize if you think i'm being harsh, but fuck me bloody , put me on a stick and call me Jesus Christ that shit really fucking pisses me off, pardon my language. They should've been rubbing dung all over that little calf.

From what I've heard this baby elephant needs a special kind of milk and he needs a human being to walk with him and be very close to him he was just rejected from his parents and needs that comfort right now or he won't make it.
@@silviahawkins3932 No that little poopaphant doesn't need any special kind of milk or any human walking with it. That little poopaphant/calf needs shit(dung), and very badly. Dung is very important for a little calf's happiness, and survival. The little calf wants the human's to emulate the mother elephant by rubbing/caking dung all over it's face and body. An experienced keeper always emulate's the mother elephant and stuff's the orphaned calf's face and trunk full of dung, and cakes/rubs dung all over the little calf's body multiple times daily as needed to keep it happy and shield it from sun. Without dung, a little calf, will become confused, brokenhearted, and very terrified. This is often fatal for little calf's. The calf needs dung or it won't survive.

I have had the joy and grief of caring for my own domestic animals. I sat here and found myself cheering for the little guy and the fellows caring him. It wasn't anthropomorphism driving my feelings. I think it was empathy for soul mates caring for our fellow creatures.

In this video I felt like I was there with them when they were petting him. This one made me cry. Because he was a new baby if you look closer you can see the umbilical cord. He was really hungry bless it. And bless all you for the wonderful help you all do. God will bless you all some day. I loved his little fuzz on top of its head. But one of its eyes looked really red and I didn’t see them doing anything to it. Maybe later. He is a funny little elephant.😍

The baby was ill, so they take it from its mother for treatment. Once its healthy, they'll take it back to its mother. They know where all the elephants will be because, they're the rangers of the reserve.
