- I believe in America! Join Cody as he takes a look at this worker placement game with conflict based upon the classic movie, from Cool Mini or Not. Will it make you an offer you can't refuse? Or will it end up fishing with Fredo? Let's take a look!

I was literally waiting for you to review this. I tend to trust your reviews over others.
William Garcia Thank you! Happy to help!
Small correction about shaking down another player's region that you might've forgot to mention: Only shaking down the FRONT of another player's business will give them the bonus resource card.
And if you didn't play that way during your first games, do it. It changes the game tremendously and makes you think twice before enriching another player who already has the advantage on you. It becomes even more tactical :)
Andy Gagnon Indeed!
Saw this at Marshall's the other day for only $20! Had to snag it and am excited to try it out.
I think you'll get a kick out of it.
Great review as always!
Thank you, sir!
Grazie Don Carlson.
Prego.
What Eric´s Lang best game need is a cheap simple upgrade: more variation in the jobs and allies. Just a small deck of cards. 10$.
Interesting. Thanks.
This is a great game even if none of my friends saw the movie. Laundering money is satisfying, but extortion is brutal!
Indeed!
Here's something the Godfather and Star Wars don't have in common... one knew when to quit.
I don't know. Did you see The Godfather Part III?
My point exactly. Coppola looked at that film and knew to quit. On the other hand, we got prequels and sequels that can't move away from the original trilogy, zombily feeding on the corpse of a once great series, that should have looked at the Ewoks and knew it was time to quit.
He should have quit after Part II.
This is the same situation as "Alien". There are only 2 movies in the franchise. Anyone who says otherwise means you ill and should be ignored. ;)
Ha!
So, what would get to the table more with your average group: This or Blood Rage? I'm considering keeping Godfather and getting rid of Blood Rage for this simple reason. What gets to the table more? Thanks for your time, Cody.
matthlowder I imagine Blood Rage would get to table more- still, they’re very different games.
I was wondering why Lucas sold out to Disney.
Apparently Gene Roddenberry held out and look what they did to him!
Cody... Great review! I hadn't put this game on my "Buy list", but I'm warming up to it... via the game mechanics... I also like the idea of more negotiation between crime families. The components look super... guess I'll just have to set aside more money to buy it. Great work as always.
Thank you, sir. I liked this one more than I thought I would.
1st.
