As an Irish man that lived in Denmark in the 90,s I loved it. I found the people warm and welcoming once you got to know them. They kinda liked the Irish accent also which I found a big bonus which I found helped me. Yes I tried to speak danish although I was very basic at it they appreciated the effort I made. Great times and memories.

@@nialloneill5369 sit down with them enjoy a beer and a laugh. They can seem a bit reserved and standoffish at first but once you get to know them yer flying. Wish I had never came back to Ireland. Go enjoy it lad and savour every moment and experience that comes your way when you are there. Trust me you will love it.

yeah as an Irish it's easy but Danes dislike eastern europeans, africans,arabs etc... In the 60s they were even forcing the roma population to get sterilized.
If you are born in the right place with the right skin color they will treat you right, else you find systemic racism and a lot of microagressions every day.

Obtaining citizenship requires you to speak the language - shocking.
Look, ....five years for residency is nothing! Most nations require that much and even those that don't end up taking that long because of delays and backlog. I cannot think of any Country that will take you less time (practically). There is no pie in the sky. People need to get realistic. And by the way, you forgot to mention that you make more than two or three times what you made in Hungary.
I’ve been thinking about moving to either Sweden or Denmark but after spending a lot of time in both countries I can’t stand the cold. The winters are miserable there. I moved to England instead and I also hate the long dark cold Winters here so time to move somewhere warm I think …
As a Dane, my problem isn't the coldness or darkness, I'm fine with it. But it's the fact we don't get much snow here that gets me. Because when there isn't snow, it's just grey and wet. But when there is snow, it's just amazing. That's one of the only things our scandinavian brothers do better, they get much more snow.
My Danish grandmother told us the winters in Chicago were more bitter than any she had in her home country
yeah but the problems is warm places are usually bad countries. In cold countries theyve had to build up better housing & living and use their brains more, thats why people are smarter in cold countries and dumber in warm climate countries
I live where it is warm but omg in the summer you get whiplash from all the Hurricanes. I went through the eyewall of a hurricane. Check that off the bucket list and something I don't ever want to do again. I was born in MI but grew up in FL . I moved to NY and loved living there . I moved back to FL and the summers are miserable hot .we had the hottest summer on record. . It rains a lot here too . I would rather snow and cold than hurricanes and the awful heat 🥵.

Every country has it good and bad side and here is nothing in this videos that isn't right. Hello from the UK. Denmark is on the right track tackling Islamic, and non white migration. There are other more tolerant countries that yet haven't seen the mistake they are making accepting migrants specially those of Islamic origin . European governments are shifting to the right for these reasons. Hopefully illegal migration will be a thing of the past if Europe wants to survive and preserve its identity.

In Denmark the rent is only high in the bigger city's like in Copenhagen a small apartment can easily cost 2 mil dk but in Juteland a large and new house cost 1-1.5mil dk
Exactly!! We are looking at houses and where it’s best to buy, we noticed the difference. Anytime I talk to people I do emphasize that other cities might be cheaper to live in.

Yeah and if you're willing to move to Lolland, you can almost get two houses for the same as one in the capital, unless you are going for a farm. Farm land is costly on Lolland. But normal housing is cheap.

I just saw a care center in Auction on Langeland. There was no lower limit on price, but it did not get sold. So offer 20 kr and you will have a 30 bedroom house with a huge kitchen. 🙂

I am a dane living in Ireland with my Irish husband ive see alot on here saying ireland is better no it is not houses are overpriced rent is astronomical food is overpriced it is nearly impossible to get gp and dentists appointments wages are ridiculous and the weather is even worse that denmark denmark is not perfect but neither is ireland we go to Denmark 2 times a year so we know what denmark is like we also lived in uk for 10 years that was ok but not perfect either we however are moving home to denmark

I have never been to either one of these countries, all I know is from news. I also can not speak for every black person, but personally I really have not experienced racism or I’ll treatment from Danes. All the time I have been treated different, it’s from other foreigners

I don’t know what the hell you are talking about but I made this This video for people who are looking for someone to be honest about what to expect, none of these reasons stopped us from moving to Denmark because it’s not a dealbreaker for me personally. But for someone it might me.

You pay 38-40% effective tax up to 110-120k usd. And i believe the amount just got raised again here this week. I would prefer a flat tax, as i earn above it. But I also like to live in a well functioning society.

I am very sad about such attitude... i am from Latvia and the problem we face in Latvia is agressive attitude towards people from Africa and Assia to our border guards. Latvian border guards are being agressively attacked.
I sometimes feel like people from Africa and Assia are only for money. When a person lives in a country it is not only about passport and health care, you also have to give sth to country. This woman speaks only about getting passport and healthcare, but what about Denmark? You should give sth to country, encourage its culture and be ready to go in war in case of Russia attacks.

Nobody likes paying taxes, right? We pay some of the highest taxes in the world. We also live in one of the best countries in the world, and it's actually all them awful taxes, that makes the country so great. We'd be as bad as, say the US, if we didn't pay our taxes.
I assume you live somewhere with fairly stable weather conditions, but also that you're aware of the four seasons, we have closer to the poles.
The bad thing about Denmark is that we can expierience all 4 seasons on an afternnon in April. If you're more than two hours from your wardrobe and wearing, say summer clothes, you better bring a winter outfit and some in between clothes. You'll need both your wellingtons and you sandals. It is SUCH a hustle!
But it's comforting to know the shitty weather will be over very SOON. Tomorrow at the very latest!
Like if it's pouring down with rain, just as you're on your way out, you just sit down for five minutes, have a cup of coffe and it simply stops raining. Magic!

Its also one of the reasons i never felt home here, as you know before Christianity Scandinavia was pagan always, and they have gotten back to paganism, they will immediately single you out if they know you are a Christian or a muslim, they will mock and scoff you but i always stand firm about my beliefs. I just want to live in a place where i know i can find my tribe ( followers of Jesus ) and with better weather, its like 8 months cold, dark and grey, very depressing. Alot of people here are on anti depressiv medicin so many are walking like zombies dead inside.
Not to mention Danes in general last few years do not want any foreigners here, if you look different you will be treated different. Its very deep i could write books about Scandinavia. And it comes from someone who is half Balkan half latino, also i ate of the good things too, like the system, healthcare, school etc. But in my experience there are more cons than pros. Be blessed 🙏

Tax rates are up around 70% mark, they take 45% at source, and then want 25% of anything you buy. I was listening to an Austrian who escaped Austria post second world war, because 'socialism' was making her country a nightmare to be in.. However we do have clean streets and reasonable people and low crime levels (went down 95% during pandemic which didn't help the Danes to think positively about outsiders...) Anyway. Africa, wonderful place. Europe living nightmare... Where should we go next?

I've compared Ireland, where I live, to DK where I was born, hundreds of times over the years....Ireland certainly isn't a perfect country ...however, compared to DK it's close to heaven..and, we do not pay our entire salery to the tax office..have no time for depression and, - all the other things..
The Danes keep talking about how "good" everything there is...I have lived in Ireland for 23 years and, I still haven't found anything better in DK...only the other way...

I know you are not Danish because Danes do not think like you. we pay high tax because it all goes back to a lot of the amazing benefits we all enjoy like healthcare, education and so much more. Most immigrants work extremely hard, pay their taxes and are just grateful to be here. I will not be tolerating any stupidity here.
