You guys are awesome....you are probably not interested but, recently me.and my wife went on a canoe course in Germany ( that's where we live) and our instructor had a Silverbirch Canoe, we were in our Novacraft Prospector! We learned a bunch of stuff, but now we are itching to learn more and do more whitewater! Love your Videos! You guys seem to have a very similar attitude to me !😬 Would love to come to the USA sometime too! We are a bit old though......
I see your comment is about a year old, how do you like the firefly? pros/cons? any recommendations? I'm thinking about a canoe for solo trips and have put the firefly in the final running.
Sean Coombs well worth it. I have the third one ever built. First one was scrapped, second one was a demo, third is mine after a call from Sam at Kent Canoes when he was at the factory! Takes a lot of gear (done a few camping weekends away in it) and handles well on white water grade 2/3 although it does feel heavy doing brake outs unless you really lean the boat, which is easy to do fortunately. Nice and forgiving (and surprisingly dry) in the rough stuff. Seems to take punishment well, having bounced off several rocks at speed! Not very stable two up, it’s a solo only boat. Can’t wait to get back in it!
@@seancoombs1543 it's a Duralite, but as it was the third from the mould they were still getting practicing! Mine is slightly thicker than standard, and tougher.
