Thank you for sharing this colorful book! I am not getting a Truly Me doll any time soon. After watching your video, I did buy the book from an eBay seller.
I love this so much! I’m thinking of getting a few extras from sellers online for my old dolls. It’s a great way to give your doll a back story as well see how far you’ve come. I don’t get to buy a doll all the time but when I have the budget for it, some time has passed so I can see how far I’ve come since I last did the book. One thing I wish they did was address your doll as they instead of she. It doesn’t fit the boy dolls.
By the way, the books that came with the original American Girl of Today (TM) dolls were blank books with blank, white pages for children to write their doll’s story. Non-AG blank books can be purchased through teacher supply stores. I am sure getting a plain, white book was seen as uninviting for a lot of families. I like they changed it to books with more thought, color, and direction.
I absolutely love, love this book! 💖AG dolls weren't around when I was younger but we did a lot of hands-on like in this book. I've seen the AG friends book and donated it to a mini curbside library since I had no interest in it. I definitely wouldn't want a book that gave advice. I prefer fun and this looks like fun. Thanks for making a video. 😊 I did get one with my TM121 but haven't looked at it yet since I was busy.
This looks so fun. I am all for it. 🌹
This is such a cute book, the colorful illustrations and the art style makes me so happy ✨ 💕 ty for sharing
You are welcome 🌺

👍👍👍
A thought is to do how-to the craft ideas featured in this book: bracelet, aquarium, carry-on case, and mini birthday cake.
That’s an idea… 💡

Yes, it would be great to have more gender neutral book, or different books for different genders.
@@rainbowunicorncat1 I think so! Perhaps a book that’s sea green color cover with different activities inside for the boy dolls.
Thank you for doing this flip through. I'm surprised by how long the book actually is.
You are welcome!

This one seems like a fun interactive book 📕👍
Thank you for sharing the info, I didn’t know about the original books that came with AGOT dolls. 🌺🌺🌺

I had a handwritten/scrapbooked book like that too. So fun! - Kay’s Mom.
I would rather have an activity book, then an advice book. I could give my doll a back story.
Yes, you can fill in a different book for each doll.
Yes!
Same, this looks like so much fun to fill out
I kind of like the old ones better that gave you advice
Yeah, this one is more of a journal than a book.
