New Brake Pad & Rotor Kit from 1AAuto.com 1aau.to/ia/1ABF...
Brake pads wear out over time, much like tires, and need replacing, on average, every 50,000 miles, with variations depending on driving habits and environment. Brake rotors may also need to be replaced if they are warped or grooved. Often, it’s safer and more cost effective to replace pads and rotors at the same time. Squealing or grinding noises, or wheel vibration are all symptoms of worn brakes. This video shows you how to install new, quality TRQ brake pads and rotors on your 2013-17 Honda Accord.

I enjoyed your back brake video 2 years ago that I’m back for the fronts. Had no luck with the impact driver so I had to drill both rotor screws. The key is to drill clockwise until you are about 3/16 in. Then switch to a drill bit that is 1/16 wider and drill counter clockwise. It hooks up with the screw and out it comes. Both rotors were stuck on the hubs and I had to pound with a sledgehammer for 5 mins straight on each. Other than that, I followed everything exactly. Thank you
Great video! I noticed you only applied grease to the backside of the clips which contact the caliper. How come you don’t apply grease to the opposite side of the clips where the pads come into contact with them? Wouldn’t that help the pads slide in and out?
Great video. Not Phillips but JIS / Crosspoint on those rotors screws. Also SBS Brake Treatment Spray II is a good product for the hub and rotor contact surface. Just my 2 cents.
Wow! Best explanation ever 👍🏻. Thank you
Best video guides. Love this channel
I laughed when he said "paquìiiiiim" 😅😅😅 this mam knows his brakes stuff ..
So my car since I bought it never had the rattle clips you took off at 1:30 and never had a problem. The new calipers I put on came with them and without them there’s a constant rattle. Any reason why some calipers do fine without them but others don’t?
very educative. thank you
+sesha chary Thanks for watching. Buy the part in this video on 1AAuto.com: 1aau.to/m/Shop-TRQ
Where can you find the right amount of torque for the clliper’s bolts.?
Great video and I can tell you've done this a million times. Should lube be applied to the brake pad tabs/ears that sit in the clips? I see half the videos do this and the other half do not. Will adding lube to the brake pad tabs possibly cause sticking and accumulation of dust and debris to those areas? Should lube NOT be used on brake pad tabs when using stainless steel bracket tins?
nice and clean work
Can I do this same process for the back?
Are this rotors last a lot ? Or what other rotors fit/goes with a 2017 accord sport ? Dont matter the price im trying to get something thats going to last me more than a cheap rotors also a good quality.. thanks.
My pedal feels soft after doing this. I've tried pumping the brakes, with reservoir cap off and on. Tried to bleed fronts can't get it to stiff up.
Where can I buy the TRQ shirts? I checked on the main website and they sell zero apparel.
Size of rotors?
nice work
where are the brakes and rotors made
?
Does it matter if the brake pad indicators go on the bottom or top
Very Nice 💥 🤙
What is the diameter of the rotor?
293 mm
Do I need to put the e-brake down?
Will these work on a 2017 accord sport?
+jagenigma Thanks for checking us out! Yes, these will be correct for your 2017 Honda Accord Sport Special Edition L4 2.4L. Here is a link to this set on our website 1aau.to/ia/1ABFS02565
