What did you think of Chennedy Carter's hit on Caitlin Clark?
It was bush-league but I have seen a lot worse in the WNBA.
just a lot of passion for the game and that the W is physical
Bill Russell won 8 Straight Championships...That is better than 6 Championships in 8 years.
But Jordan fans will exclude that because it don't suit their narrative or downplay Russell's competition.
Yet all Jordan's rings came in the Expansion era...Weak. The expansion era made it impossible to have 5 Hall of Famers on one team like the 80's
Bill was never the best player on his team but was the best defender hence how beat Wilt Chamberlain in those chips.... MJ was always the best player on every team he was on similar to Wilt but never lost in any championship & won 6 (2 3peats) in the toughest era of basketball, a feat only one other team accomplished & they could only do 1 3peat before breaking up the band... nice try but even Bill says MJ is the greatest 🤷🏾♂️
Much respect to Mike but folks love telling this story without Scottie Pippen and Phil Jackson.
MJ was that guy before he played with Scottie or Phil. He won at every level, High School and College.

Can't talk Jordan without talking Phil and Pippen...Jordan never WON a Playoff Series without them and ONLY has 1 Playoff win.
Jordan At best without Pippen and Phil was an 8th seed and that IF he made the playoffs.
Pippen and Phil had way more Playoff success without Jordan, than Jordan had without them.
(Pippen didn't win a ring, but he won Playoff Series, multiple series...Jordan didn't win any series...just one playoff game)
How does Pippen average basically half of what Jordan did, but he's more important to Jordan winning? Pippen couldn't close games, and Phil preferred Toni Kukoc. Pippen was never that guy.
Jordan lost the majority of those series before Phil came. Had Jordan had the same team with Phil that Pippen had when they lost to NY, Jordan would have made it to the NBA finals vs. Houston. How do you average for your career half of Jordan's ppg, you aren't clutch but you're more important than Jordan? Isiah and other top stars never respected Pippen either. They saw him as soft.

Jordan fans are just as bad as Lebron fans and Dallas Cowboys fans.
They are to rewrite a narrative to make Jordan the GOAT.
The elephant in the room is...Jordan fans act like other great teams could go 6-0 against the Teams Jordan beat in the NBA Finals. None of those teams were ALL TIME GREAT Teams. And that Lakers Team was far from Showtime. The teams Jordan beat in the 90's were the 2nd and 3rd rate teams that couldn't win in the 80's...they wasn't ALL TIME great teams. Good teams, not Great teams
