SALT DOUGH CHRISTMAS DECORATION
MATERIALS
1 cup of all purpose flour
1/2 cup of salt
1/2 cup of water
Acrylic paint or any paint
Rolling pin
Cookie sheet
Drinking straw
Holiday shaped cookie cutter
Paintbrush
Glitter
Ribbon or string to hang them
PROCEDURE:
1. Mix the flour, salt and water together.
2. Mix it until it forms a ball of dough. Knead it a few times to check for consistency. It should be soft, smooth and pliable.
3. Roll dough to 1/4-inch thickness.
4. Cut out ornaments using holiday cookie cutters and use the drinking straw to poke or create a small hole for the string.
5. Decorate by painting or adding some glitters
6. Place the ornaments in to the oven and bake for 2 to 3 hours at 250 degrees Fahrenheit.
7. When it is done put a string or a ribbon so that you can now hang it on the Christmas tree
