Hello "Mga Oragons" (the word oragon means strong and brave in Bicol Dialect). Bicol dialect is widely spoken in Bicol Region located the southern part of Luzon, the largest island in the Philippine archipelago. My husband, Michael and I were from Bicol specifically from the town of Milaor, Philippines. We love to greet our subscribers as Oragons.
We named our channel D' Pado Family because our surname is Pado and "D" stands for the first letter of our children names; Danica, Don, Daniel and Drei. We are originally from the Philippines and migrated in Alberta, Canada. We created this channel because one of Don's prayers is to become a youtuber hence we decided to do it. We want our subscribers to see our fun, adventure and day to day living as immigrant in Canada. We hope to serve as an inspiration to the subscribers as we begin our journey as a family here in Canada.

HALO HALO : FILIPINO SHAVED ICE DESSERT
It is Summer here in Alberta, Canada so we decided to teach our son Don Liam how to make one of the famous and favorite dessert in the Philippines , halo halo or in English " mix mix". From its name, it is simple a mix of ingredients top with shaved ice, milk, ube jam, leche plan, cheese and ice cream.
All of our ingredients are ready to eat like, kaong, nata de coco, red mongo beans, sweetened banana, gulaman and more. As much as possible, we want to have fresh and home made ingredients but its difficult to find raw ingredients here. By the way, ingredients are available in Filipino or any Asian store. In fairness, my children loves halo halo and for us parents, we miss our home country, Philippines.
