Promised, I will also share losing games with you next time :) These couple of games against FreshPrinceEric were crazy and very exciting for me, but I also want to share more realistic content in the future
Definitely my favourite video on this channel! I've always wanted to see a game of two Quoridor masters with an explanation of the meaning of each move, but couldn't find such a content anywhere. Now I have the opportunity to learn new tactics. Really enjoyed watching this vid, so thank you and congrats on 760+ ELO :) Btw, the nickname FreshPrinceEric seemed familiar at first, but then I remembered it was one of the openers in your first video lol xD
Thank you so much 💕 I'm so happy to hear that it helped you to progress 😉 Yess FPE is an iconic player, and one of the most senior on BGA! He has been a pioneer in many strategies. You should check his games, he is very strong 🧐
Just made a quoridor game for a fun DIY project and this was recommended. Nice video. I like the comments and the ideas you narrate about your options. Thanks for sharing.
Eu sou do Brasil. E conheci o Quoridor há pouco tempo. Acredite, aqui no meu país não encontrei nenhum canal que aborde o tema deste jogo tão sensacional. Obrigado, estou aprendendo com você.
Thank you for making these and making the game more popoular. It is true that there are few people who play Quoridor, and from 15 games in BGA I already have 192 E.L.O. I´ve watched all your videos and I hope I can get to a more competitive lvl soon!
Amazing !! :D so cool to see new players like you join us on Board Games Arena to play competitively. And thank you so much for your support! What is your pseudo on BGA?
May be a silly question but on game 4 when you pull back couldn’t Eric have just moved forward and when you move again he just pulls back to have you jump him? Or is it just sportsmanship to accept the loss
Oh wow! I apologize I should’ve just counted myself before commenting I didn’t even consider it’s still a loss for him. I thought you pulled back because allowing him to jump you after jumping him would result in a loss
@@okc5265 no problem, don't worry, I'm glad to have those discussions ;) yeah it's the same outcome because Black has to pull back instead of moving forward to it is quite costly for him to do this trick
I'm not a chessmaster, but am in the top 25 active in South Korea and 2400 bullet on lichess. My first games of quoridor have been absolute garbage ㅎㅎㅎ I only tried to create a lane and block the back of it off. Counting makes a lot of sense though.

No clue why UA-cam recommended me this, never seen the game before. Just leaving a comment to help you with the algorithm. You seem chill, keep it up!
Haha thank you so much

Boa! Bom ver que tem mais brasileiros aprendendo quoridor :)

congratz, i loved to hear your thoughts. Thats valuable for a new player. thanks for sharing
Thank you for your comment, I'm so happy to read that it helped you 😊
Eric definitely was drunk haha! Beautiful format! ❤
The drunken master 😂 It definitely felt easier in some games I must say, like game 6
@@quoridorstrategy It's a shame that I already watched these games yesterday, but the winning line is amazing. Bravo
@@-realjecto-241thank you Mikk ❤ we should also play live one day. Promised, I would keep the games where you crush me 🥲😵
@@quoridorstrategy you are in no way inferior to me) so it’s still unclear who is winning ;)
you should make more videos. I love them😍
Thank you so much 💕
My mate and I play this stoned. See it all differently - would recommend it

Ive made quoridor myself as i got interested seeing it in reels. I just learnt we could actually use walls to sevure our own path as well.
I have a question, how do you paint in the screen to plan the next movements? Do you do it in the BGA while playing or is it edited after?
It's a tool called "epic pen" to draw anywhere in your screen. I only use it when I make videos to explain my thought process :)
Wowww your videos are the best!!!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Soon you will be 800 ELO!!!!!! 👏👏👍👍👌👌✌️✌️👏👏👏
Thank you so much Antonio 💕
One day 🌟😌
Really good!

Why take the extra step at 18:15?
What do you mean ?
We need QouridorStrategy and GothamChess to make a video together
Haha that would be awesome. I'd be so curious to see how chess masters play Quoridor on their first game

Je viens de tomber contre FreshPrinceEric, je me disais bien que son nom me disait quelque chose. J'ai réussi a lui en gagner une/3 partie.
Niiiice ! Bravo :) c'est quoi ton compte ?

i'm brand new. but i thought you can't cut of the path to the other side. i.e. 22:34
This move was not cutting anyone's path, so it's fine :)
@@quoridorstrategy ah so sorry, I confused you with your opponent haha. Thanks for the response!
