I am really looking forward to mine! Also looking forward to being able to run this directly off of 6S flight packs rather than having to use lower cell packs and the BEC cable. The crew around here is also looking forward to my old SB VRX being available to get into the system once it gets back from repair in china. Thanks for the vid and doing your part to help this system get out there man!
The interference I get as well with my original vrx with cair 13db patches like the ones you have on the new vrx. The added sensitivity is the culprit. As many see from my videos it won't actually be an issue, but in high multipathing it may also show up. But overall your range in those environments are still improved and having the higher gain 100% reduced the hot flashes 🙌🙌🙌
It’s so sorry to see the sharkbyte was discontinued,as it has so much better design. And I’m look for a used sharkbyte vrx after waiting several month of this new vrx. Finally, thanks for your frankness, keep going!
I am still undecided. I do city diving at 5:30AM before workers and buses enter. My video needs to penetrate thick three leaves. The steady view analog never troubles me with blocking/rainbow artifacts. And I know the more digital is involved, the more unpredictable things can happen.
The part where there is less breakup going around the trees in front of your house. That's at about 7:30 (-135 degrees) to the angle you're facing. So that would have been all Omni antennae, not the patches at all. I'm of course assuming that you didn't move your head, as that would have basically invalidated the test anyway, as the SharkByte VRx was static on the plant pot. Interesting though.
Thanks Ryan... Goggle aesthetics...No one ever claimed that FPV goggles were chick magnets...🖖🏼 The fans sound didn't seem too obtrusive..would likely be overcome by ambient noise I think..thanks for the ride
I just went to through 2 vrx v2 modules they just stopped powering up and ordered a 3rd one what's going on with these modules I was using 3s lipo batteries
hey Ryan, I just built the tiny trainer with elrs and Hdzero. I used the plug on uart 3 of the f405 board for my elrs and it is working. I used the HD video plug (minus the s-bus ) to power my the Whoop HD board that came with my tiny trainer V2. The board is powering up fine but I am not seeing any video. I have a brand new original 5.1rx and the Whoop board. When I connect my drone to betaflight and a battery betaflight is also not seeing my TX. How do I get my TX to show in Beta flight? i have my TX on uart4. I have the uart 4 slide bar set to MSP. Can you think of any step I am missing?
I'm afraid I'm going to have to to send my 1w vtx back as I cannot get my hands on a vrx and I'm not rushing to support a new technology when it needs my support but I can't give it
@@NeoFlowFPV How do you know if they're out of stock on pre-order when stocks aren't even in yet? HobbyRC in the UK is still taking pre-orders for example...

Can you configure EVERYTHING you need to in HDzero using the VRX4 if you have no goggles at all? I don't want goggles, I don't want to buy goggles, I want tho throw all the analog and DJI goggles I have away, and I just want to slap a VRX4 on the back of my big screen TV and go. #endthegogglepwwke. yes, you should be able to still use the jog-wheel as normal... just get a mini hdmi to standard hdmi adapter. Plug the mini end into the vrx and run that cable to the adapter. Run a standard hdmi cable from the adapter to your television hdmi input and your problem should be solved.

Great video comparison Ryan I look forward to seeing more pilots getting into HD Zero with the new VRX! 👍

They had to adjust the design due to the chip shortage

How does the rail system work? Do I get brackets with the vrx?
They could have made the casing a little bit sleeker.
agree - the form is a step back from the sharkbyte module considering it doesnt even have the patches on board
The cool part is - you can probably pop that sucker off and put a NASTY hydrodip on it......

The breakup is a proximity safety feature!

Can't get them anyway, suppose to be out this week but it will be a while from what I'm told.. preorders full
A week later and same thing....
I need to make this kind of Video, but with side by side cam on same vtxHdzero.
Hey Ryan, I preordered the new VRX I was wondering if you could recommend some patch antennas for it?
I want HDZero include Gyro ppm inside.
And HDZero Suport stereo cam.
I ordered mine from pyrodrone hope there shipped out soon 🙏 🙌
I want HD zero for my Skyzone Cobra X goggles ( I wear glasses and yes I know DJI is "better") But I want this 😎🤙
"Better" is subjective.....and DJI has their own pros and cons
Hey Ryan, I have a really old Fatshark HD2 (800x600) with a HDMI input. Will this VRX work with that goggle ?

Will the firmware cable be available separately. Luckily I still have mine. But a longer cable is very welcome.
I cut mine in 1/2 and soldered in enough wire to make it 2 feet long..much easier to use imho..
What camera and lens is this?
Do you know if HDZero vrx works with Skyzone Sky04L?
Yes, works since it has hdmi
Ryan I thought this vrx was going to be sold for 200 dollars. I see RDQ has it on pre order for more.
There is several posts about this in the FB group, short version is there was a miscommunication btwn Divimath and retailers
@@JonathanElving ok thanks for the info. Glad I have some spare antennas. Save myself some money.
think that might be the wholesale price to retailers, oops moment for sure.

Does it come with mini HDMI to mini HDMI patch cable?
Yes

Id love to but all out of stock so I'll literally not have a chance to get 1 even by pre ordering ...
wait for it!
