Yeh she was my favourite. Some people are just really good actors, but some people are really good actors who just fit and embody that particular role SOOO WELL and the girl who played lumiere was just that!!!

Ik when I did this the first time, it was at my school with pre-k through 8th graders. The little kids don’t pull weight at all and we never have harmonies in the shows so I started doing more professional shows

Edit 2: It’s actually really fun and it’s not too bad being a silly girl. If you are auditioning for a character and don’t get what you wanted at first don’t worry because you will still have fun singing, dancing and acting. So please don’t be sad if you get a small part because even the small parts count as much as the big ones. The dancers and singers that don’t say much make the show! It wouldn’t be good at all if it was only the main characters on stage. I hope that this help everyone that don’t get the part that they want 👍

I really wanted Lumiere, but I got Silly Girl 2, Lady with cane, and Narrator 3. The guy who got Lumiere said he only wanted it because Lumiere should only be a boy
It doesn't matter the gender of the actor, I mean, I'm a girl and I got Lumiere! It matters on the actors behavior mostly (from what I learned) I am so sorry that happened but I bet you can make those three characters BETTER than Lumiere with some... DRAMAAAAAAAAA!!

wow this cast is so talented! this video has been very helpful to help me prepare for my auditions! we are getting the parts tomorrow and i’m hoping for belle or lumiere but we’ll see!! i’ll report back tomorrow if anyone is interested in what part i got.

Belle is my dream role I auditioned for her but instead got Babette, the feather duster. I was very sad at first but now I am in love with her and my costume is beautiful! So glad this is a community full of theater kids

Mrs. Potts deserved a bigger role. she was waaaayyyyy too good. she should have been belle.
It had to be a character that’s fits their personality most and I think from what I’m seeing she enjoyed it
You can’t cast the best singer as the lead role. Belle is more soft and less belty, and not an operatical singer. That’s not smart casting. She doesn’t fit the role

I auditioned for Belle, but I’m glad I got Mrs. Potts! (I’m sort of glad I didn’t get Belle. My school has two performances, and if you get Belle, for one of the performances, you’re Babette and one of the Silly Girls)
