I made it to 18 without having heard this somehow. We’re playing an arrangement of this in Trombone Studio, and I’m now in love.

One does not have to be a trombone player to appreciate this piece! It's just simply beautiful to listen to.

I'm a horn player and I listen to trombone ensembles more than I do horn ensembles haha

Love that song and the subtle cutoff of the final note. That was my late band director's favorite piece.

The beggining reminds me much of something from a Shumann Symphony.

Why is Denis playing a tenor trombone?

You Mean Denson? That might just be a single valved bass, but the bell does actually look small. Probably for endurance

DPP is a machine and there’s no way he would need the tenor for endurance, he most likely chose to play the same instrument as the other performer on his part, so the choir has proper instrumentation.

@@janeisnotokay3284 Perhaps he's looking for the right sound. A bass would sound awfully heavy on that part.

Joe Alessi...first to have his horn down...smdh...what a shame and a Debbie downer to an epic ending. He seems tired. Probably should retire by now with that crap for attitude.
