  • As elected councillors, it's essential to recognise that modern slavery still exists in various forms in the UK, including in London. This includes trafficking individuals into criminal activities, subjecting victims to sexual exploitation, domestic slavery, and forcing them into labour in sectors such as construction, shops, nail bars, car washes, or manufacturing, among others.
    Learn about its prevalence, how boroughs are tackling it, and how councillors can help to combat this issue.
