The fact that I have to search how to upload a resume to LinkedIn is just sad. That should be completely intuitive, but they somehow found a way not to make it that way. What a horrible user interface LinkedIn has. Thanks for the video.
Just created a linkedin account, and it's a pain in the backside. Terribly programmed and I couldn't believe they apparently removed the import CV / CV parsing feature, forcing you to create your online profile entirely from scratch. Will likely just kill the account in the coming days
The UI has been changed on Linkedin since you uploaded this video, but the video was still a huge help. Thank you for the video. Really wish there was an intuitive way to make the upload.
Since 2024 the new way of uploading resume on LinkedIn is to Me or profile pic, select settings & privacy, data privacy under job seekers preferences you then go under job application settings. ( Don’t ask me why it’s so complicated) 🤣just do it!
Thank you so much!! You made it much easier. However, you may want to update because I had to search a little deeper. The option you said was on the left hand column is no longer there but I did find it with little searching. Again, you were very helpful.
Just want to thank you. I found your channel today and scrolling your page, you answered so many questions I've had over the years! Oh, man. I'm so grateful! It's often the smaller questions that don't get answered. Here's a question that I might be too confused to say well. My teen sons have Xbox 1's. I have the main old Microsoft/Xbox account. Can I somehow give them the microsoft points I earn in the browser if I get the Xbox reward? It credited to mine where it's useless. I hoped it had a gc code they could type in but couldn't find one. Thank you!!
By uploading my resume to LinkedIn with this solution, will others be able to download or view it by visiting my profile? (If not, is there a way to make it possible?)
Thanks. Wow that is super complicated. Probably one of the reasons LinkedIn is still not the social media giant they could be. Also because they change so frequently, this info is no longer valid. You have to go to "Jobs" and on the left "Resume Builder" and then it offers to let you upload a resume.
Thanks! I appreciate the help! However, I had a recruiter who asked why my resume wasn't available on my profile. I had already completed the steps in this vid. Any idea why she can't see my resume on my profile? Thanks!!
When you are at your profile : add profile section -> recommended -> Featured --> press the plus ikon next to the "Featured" word and you can upload a pdf file there and other stuff
@@NagyGergely0012 this helped me out more than the video lol. Linked shows you what the video talks about. Never what you just mentioned. Good looking out 🔥🔥🔥

I agree
Facts dude, I agree. I wish others had that common sense but apparently not.
Agree. I feel your pain.
something weird... No mistake like that is made

Thank you. I don't know why they can't have a resume option under your profile icon. It would make things so simple.

Don’t get why they had to make it so complicated? It’s already stressful enough trying to do the finding a new job process.
Thank you, this helps

Does anyone know if you have to have a premium subscription because I did the step and I dont have that option the job seeking preferences
I'm having the same problem. Looks like LinkedIn removed it.
I don’t have an option for job seeking preference 🤷♀️
thank you 🙂
How many jobs can I apply per day via LinkedIn (Maximum)?
Unable to upload getting an error always "Something went wrong while uploading". Please suggest.
There is no "Job Application Settings" nor an "Upload Resume" radio button when I follow your map. Those options do not exist.
It was useful
I tried to do the instructions in this video, but apparently that section does no longer exist
THX
Bro one doubt after uploading can I see my resume in my profile if yes please tell the options
When you are at your profile : add profile section -> recommended -> Featured --> press the plus ikon next to the "Featured" word and you can upload a pdf file there and other stuff
Thank you so much, was so simple. Very helpful
Is this only for premium? I dont see job preferences
I do not see this setting. Does it require a Premium account?
Hi I’m confused with how to upload my resume so that it auto populates to my profile
IS IT ADVISABLE TO COMBINE ALL DOCUMENTS AND UPLOAD IN LINKEDIN
You did not show us how to display the resume on the page???
I have a premium account but no Job Applications Setting Option.
Can other users see your resume?
None of this worked.
Is this a free app?
Job seeking preferences does not show up on my LinkedIn profile, do I need to upgrade it or something?
Same here
JOb seeking preferences not available. opps!
I don't have that page !!
There is no left hand side bar.
This setting is really hidden and they should improve
Hi’ uploaded my resume but its not seen on my profile. How will the recruiters find my cv even I can’t find it 😂
wow I love you
