You don't need to use 91 octane for performance unless it's boosted. The higher octane rating means it has a higher resistance to pre-combustion. It doesn't mean the fuel is cleaner, or you'll have better gas mileage, or more power. Use the cheaper stuff from your regular gas station, and once a year throw in a bottle of fuel injector cleaner. Premium fuel is wasted money spent unless it's turbo'd or supercharged where the higher octane rating IS recommended because it creates more pressure.
I’m not sure if you mentioned it in the video cause I’m 30 seconds in lol… but I saw the thumbnail and was wondering what % tint you have on the windows?
Had my 2023 Camry XSE V6 for 13 months and only thing paid for was New York State Vehicle Safety Inspection of $10 in Jan. 2024 now good until Jan. 2025. Came with 2 year (24 month/25K) Toyota Care Maintenance Service for Free. Been in twice for 6 month in July 2023 and 12 Jan. 2024 month. Driven 5,890 miles in 12 months. Oh! I have no car payments as paid in full. MSRP $41,305 and I paid $39K. Never pay MSRP or markups. You're paying $250 x 12 months is $3K for Insurance. California always been high especially when under age 25 places you into the Risk Pool. It could be worse! I get average of 17.44MPG, I maintain fuel records and odometer readings since day 1 in January 2023. (Total Mileage divided by Total Gallons) Percentage probably 40 percent Highway and 60 percent City. Yes! I have complained about very poor MPG and my Toyota Dealers tells me nothing is wrong. Next service appt. going to a different dealer.
Do not use cheap gasoline from no name brands. Basically, use Mobil, shell gasoline. Also, try using 91, octane see what happens when you baby the vehicle for a week
Just so you know, Toyota engineers recommend 87 octane for the majority of their cars including this 3.5l V6. These engines are tuned from the factory for 87. I didnt believe it either, but its real. And makes a difference longevity
Haha no it was just the only one they had in stock it’s a pirelli p zero and i had to leave the next day and they wouldn’t have the tire i needed until like 3 days later
The hybrid is honestly just about as smooth of a ride and obviously they’re quieter too since the engine is much smaller so overall I’d say the ride in a hybrid is a little bit more comfy.
I got 4 Michelins put on my XSE for about 1k....so not sure what's going on here. I had to replace a RIM because of road rash and it cost me 600....so yeah those pretty black rims cost ya.
I just bought a 2.5L v4 last year and despite the bath in trade in I am seriously considering getting a V6 despite gas consumption JUST TO HAVE this magnificent v6. I hate the EV market.
The TRD just gave me like vibes that it’s doing too much. I like the classy but sporty feel and look of the XSE and i also like all the luxury features that the XSE comes with
It's actually a downgrade in many respects...go check out the vids. Outside of the small aesthetic tweaks and some suspension tweaks and cute exhaust sounds, there are some pretty significant drawbacks. XSE is way better imho.
The maxima is great. I had a 2019 for almost 5 years and did A LOT of driving from day one. The only major thing I needed was a tune up which was $581. The rest was normal maintenance; oil changes with tire rotation $65, new set of tires (usually got a buy 3, 4th was $1 deal) around $650 including installation, brakes (only needed to change 2 times) $200 front and back, fuel system cleaning $120, transmission flush $300, and a brake system cleaning I think was $175. Not super cheap but definitely not crazy expensive.
Hey bro, quite bouncing between the interior shots. It’s super dizzying. Do them after every minute or two and after an outside shot👍🙏🙏
Thank you so much for the feedback i will take that into consideration for sure!

That’s super good advice thank you!
Great video! Good to know about maintenance!
Glad it was helpful!

Idk if i can say that on here 😭😂

Thank you so much for that!
This is such a good looking car man. Great choice 👍🏿
Thank you i appreciate brotha!
$450 for a generic tire!? Did you get it delivered and installed on the side if the road?
Haha no it was just the only one they had in stock it’s a pirelli p zero and i had to leave the next day and they wouldn’t have the tire i needed until like 3 days later
He putting you on bro I got a 22 xse 1tires and it's about 250 check tirerack for info
Dealerships always charge a ton.
Yeah that is very true man!
10,000 miles oil change interval don't do it. Max 5k.
Thank you!
I buy mobil1 at Costco and Toyota dealer puts it in and charges just for labor.
Oh that’s genius! Thank you for that i might start trying that!
How much did the car cost?
The cost after everything because of the dealer mark up at the time was around $55k but they usually go for around $45k after everything
Sheshhhhhhhhhh
@@DLCRMedia55 is waaaaay too much dude
@DLCarReviews you got hoed
The maintenance cost for my TRD is a bit more
Yeah i bet!
How is the ride vs the hybrid? Are hybrids expensive to fix?
The hybrid is honestly just about as smooth of a ride and obviously they’re quieter too since the engine is much smaller so overall I’d say the ride in a hybrid is a little bit more comfy.
And generally speaking some parts on hybrids do cost a lot to fix but for the most part it’s pretty similar in price
Bruh how is your insurance 250 in cali but mine is 700 in NY. Im 22 so maybe thats why??
700 is crazy haha i thought mine was high! I’m also 22 so I’m not sure what it could be!
700 a month??
Costco might've been cheaper for the tire
Yeah i really should’ve thought about that but next time imma be much wiser about it!
400? For a tire ? That’s insane to me
Yeah man it was ridiculous it was not a good day at all
Wait till you see the prices for truck tires lol 😂

It’s a Toyota just put gas and go da!!
Haha exactly man 😂
I want the V6, it will soon be gone forever
Yeah man this is the last generation with V6’s then it’ll be all turbos and EV’s
I just bought a 2.5L v4 last year and despite the bath in trade in I am seriously considering getting a V6 despite gas consumption JUST TO HAVE this magnificent v6. I hate the EV market.
Were you interested in the TRD at all?

@@DLCRMedia You made the right choice.
I do everything myself 🤙🏼
Good stuff man I’m sure it saves you a ton of money!
Fantastic video
Thank you I appreciate it!
Wow
I agree
This or ghe Maxima
Yeah they’re both pretty close i think at that point it just depends on preference!

Boy you lying 😂😂😂😂
Haha what part are you referring to?
Maintenance cost I have 2022 Camry SE
You highly overpaid for the tire
Yup i know man was just an emergency and it’s the only one they had available. Lesson learned though brotha!
