    1/3 cup mayonnaise
    2 tbsp chopped shallot (optional)
    1 tbsp lemon juice
    1 pc tomato, sliced
    4 bread slices
    mozarella cheese, shredded
    cheddar cheese, shredded
    butter
    chili flakes, a dash
    salt and pepper to taste

    I just made it and it was delicious. I think this was my first time making one. 😊. I didn't have any mayo, but I sprinkled a little seasoning and I didn't notice. Thank you. 👍😋

    Try half the mayo in the tuna mix and half the mayo on the the outside of the sandwich for that nice crisp 👌

    That is the tastiest looking tuna cheese melt I have seen on the internet. I must make it, it looks fantastic, but I would use wholemeal bread, rather than white.

      At least at a small amount of parmesan as a binding agent, and only with tuna canned in oil, but I agree.

    If you need a strainer and cant use the can lid, I really question your ability.
