I've actually done this, and made an NPAS from the stock rocket valve by inserting a fix screw. I just wonder how far back can the rocket valve sit, since eventually gas can't get behind it.
Yeah I've seen people make mods like that too and it looks awesome! I just got mine right and I use an HPA adapter for my MTR so I can fine tune to FPS output by changing my PSI a bit.
@@HappysAirsoft Yeah I am currently on HPA awell, wish I could go back to gas mags, but it's 5Celcius outside, tuning the power to be atleast over 1J causes the gun not to function properly :/
@edvinasz918 ah, yeah 5°C is pretty cold. I don't run Gas for that reason too. I play in lots of weather like that or only slightly warmer. Plus green gas is so annoying to run, and expensive.
i play on 1j, but changing from HPA or Green Gas everytime i need to regulate the ra tech NPAS. On my m4 there is a 370mm 6.03 inner, so with the stock npas i reach 0.80j with no hop. You advice to file the plastic for 0.2mm to compensate?
Yeah I would say file it down just a little bit like that to get it right where you want it. If you need more, then just take off tiny bits at a time until it's just right
I don’t know if you will see this but what is the spring you used? Also when I google the replacement aluminum valves all I’m seeing is the one that go in the mags :(
shop.jkarmy.com/revanchist-aluminum-adjustable-power-nozzle-valve-for-for-marui-tm-m4-mws-mtr-gbbr.html I can't promise this will work well, but this is an example of an aftermarket aluminum valve! Hope this helps!
@@HappysAirsoft thank you so much! I just ordered one along with the Tapp hpa adaptor for the outdoor season just about to hopefully start here in canada
@CloakAndDaggerPC I hope it helps you out! And if you remember to, let me know how your Tapp Adapter is. I just got one for a VFC GBB 416 and it was dog shit. The feed lips were faulty and spewed bbs everywhere when I'd load a mag. Plus the gun cycles super weak with it too
@@HappysAirsoft I’ve used theirs before with my we/cybergun deagle and it was amazing. They’re 3d printed though which could totally be the reason for weird tolerances
Oh no! Sorry for the late reply. I was asleep. But in order to open the gun back up, you need to take the stock and buffer tube off so you can pull the buffer and spring out the back end of the gun.
Is this still reliable and which Gas do you shoot it with? I'm really thinking about actually doing this instead of changing out basically everything to make it work reliably with green gas.
After a year of owning it, the only thing I have now replaced is the hop up bucking and that's it! I don't run it on green gas either. I've been running it on an HPA adapter set up at around 115-120PSI which is close to green gas output anyways
I've had bad luck with NPAS units in the past where the FPS with them is terribly inconsistent. I made this mod and it works perfectly. I did get a spare nozzle assembly with an NPAS built into it though so we'll see how that works. If it's like the VFC ones, then it should be fine. Those ones seem to be good. It's the WE tech spec ones I've had horrible results with
@chuk90 at my field, they would not allow this as an actual DMR since it's not a replica of a higher caliber battle rifle. But the gun does have much more range potential now and I can make some good 200ft (60m) shots! But yeah, everyone thinks that an M4 can be a DMR if you slap a scope on it and make it shoot hard lol.
Bro... Mass effect as background music? You got a new Subscriber sir!
Thank you! It's such an amazing track from that game!
Nice. That combined with a brass hop up nub and metal buffer would be swee.

So I used the higher tension spring from this kit. I don't know if the valve itself will work though

Hi. Thanks a lot for the information. With 0.20 how many fps ?
I'm not sure, I'll have to test it but I'm pretty sure it will be higher than stock, which was around 320fps
Thanks@@HappysAirsoft

lower rate of fire, but much higher power ouput? Could be used as DMR then, right? 🤡
