This finally worked for my Kia EV9! Thank you. The last step where you had to repeat the button sync after you pressed the "learn" button on the garage owner itself was the missing step for me
Hyundia Tucson Limited Hybrid 2024. Took a couple tries for my Craftsman purple learn button garage door opener. I had to push and hold the 2 rearview buttons until solid orange flashes green, then push and hold single rearview button until it turns from orange to flashing green, walk to my purple garage learn button and push (quick second for the program light to come on) jumped down immediately went to the car and held the single rear view button until the green flashing light went out-nothing. Went back to the garage program button, quick tap, and back to the car held the single rearview button and the garage light flashed. Scared me at first and I let go. Then pushed the rearview button to test it and the garage door closed, (OMG! It actually worked) pushed the car button again and it opened. Woohoo! Felt so good to be able to do this by myself.
My new Sonata Hybrid rear view mirror has NO buttons! So this instruction site does not help. The instruction manual says there may be Gentex Automatic-Dimming mirror with an integrated HomeLink Wireless Control System, which presumably I need to get instructions from this site, but it is not here! Yesterday I called the call center and the contact person could not direct us to solve this problem and suggested we bought a car without garage door features, but this is highly unlikely since it is top-of-line model.
I am having the same issue. I have a 2024 Sonata Limited Hybrid and no buttons on the rear view mirror. I called my local Hyundai Dealership and they said they did away with the Home link for 2024 Sonata so idk.
How can I program Homelink on a brand new Hyundai Tucson- WITHOUT the little handheld garage remote opener?? Our previous vehicle had homelink as well, and the handheld remote has long been MIA. TIA
Hey 50tmack, Unfortunately, the short answer is that the easiest solution would be for you to buy a replacement hand held garage door remote from a hardware or home repair store, then sync it with your garage and then use it to train HomeLink. Past that, if you have an exterior/wireless, battery powered keypad, you may be able to use that to complete programming, but the replacement hand held garage door remote will be the easiest way to complete training. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news!
Noticed that you answered a question 🤙 I have a 2021 Telluride EX V6 there is only an on/ off button on the rear view mirror with square lights to both sides . Am not having results looking here how to program the remote door/gate opener? Suggestions? Thanks

Didn't work. 2024 Telluride and new Liftmaster. Nothing works.

HomeLink Gentex Thank you for the information. I do appreciate it so much.
I looked at the garage door opener and theres no rolling code button. Its a genie pro screw drive ACSR3. The steps arent working for me, what do i do?
Is it possible to do this if I want to add a 2nd garage door? I don’t wanna delete my other garage door that’s on my car currently
Can i still use the handheld remote after programming the Homelink with a rolling code garage door opener?
Yes. Programming HomeLink will not affect your orignital transmitter.

Hi, Robert. Based on the description you provided, it sounds like you have an auto-dimming mirror that does not come integrated with HomeLink.
@@HomeLinkGentex thanks, makes sense 🤙
Def did not work with a 23 kona and a genie intellicode
