That place looks like a lot of fun!!
It's a great trail, hidden gem in Myrtle Beach. It's worth the trip and we were about 2 hours away

Any suggestions for a beginner bike? Thinking about spending around $500
I don’t know much about bikes yet, my best suggestion would be going to your local bike shop. They are super helpful finding a bike that fits your needs, won’t try to sell you on things you don’t need
Giant Talon ... best entry level MTB you can buy .
