I would say yes, my last tablet was the tab s 8.4 LTE and and I would consider another tab for certain tasks like split- screen productivity BUT this tablet has an 835 SD chip, which, while powerful, is last year's beans and with a premium price tag, would not be a smart buy.
I was personally looking for an ipad pro replacement, which uve not found so I've upgraded 9.7 Pro to 10.5, however it still didn't kind of work for me, as I wanted to edit 4K videos on it, and while iMovie is decent it's too basic. So, still on a search for an ipad replacement, I've reviewed everything that big brands have to offer from Asus ZenPad 10 S, thought NVidia Shield Tab, Samsung 10.1 A6 2016 and 2018, Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 and now S4. And sadly the issue is not only with manufacturers supplying their flagship tablets with older chips (2018 Huawei Tab M5 Pro with 2016 Kirin 960, where even 970 is slower that SD835, which I've proven in P20 Pro vs XZ Premium video), but also with Google itself, that moved from amazing Tablet OS 3.0 Honeycomb to what we've got now, which are stretched phone apps on tab (even Google own UA-cam Creator app is a stretched phone app), and therefore sold my iPad Pro and bought Surface Pro i7. While not the most convenient tablet on the planet, it does it's job pretty well. I'm still on a lookout for and android tablet though and will carry on reviewing them as long as they're released :)
Quick Expert Reviews have you not heard of Luma Fusion for iOS? It’s a hugely capable video editor - far more than the basic iMovie. I don’t believe android has any equivalent. For video editing, nothing beats Affinity. It’s as capable as Photoshop, but it’s a one time purchase rather than subscription.
If you've got a compatible TV or device handy (like a Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter), could you verify if Miracast screen mirroring is still a feature? The buttons would probably be somewhere in the "SmartThings" app. It's a different kind of streaming protocol from what Chromcasts use. I'm especially interested if it works in Dex mode. Thanks!

Waiting for the LTE version to arrive at T-Mobile. Praying that they offer it in the light gray color, this black looks like a nightmare. Why would they make a black glass tablet ? It's insane.

I use them anywhere and sometimes i dont know if the surfaces i place them on are clean or i sometimes forget to wash my hand before using it or i bring it with me while i do my number two. I always forget to clean it. But with the black glass where i can see the prints 😨 it reminds me of everything i put my tablet into 😆.
That's the milion dollar question only Samsung can answer :) Huawei has released M5 Pro tablet in 2018 with 2016 Kirin 960. No idea what's going on. Seems like only Apple can release updated processor from iPhone and Microsoft can go with latest gen M3/i3/i5/i7 processors.

I'm still going to buy it, at least for review purposes, but when I did Kirin 970 (P20 Pro) vs SD835 (XZ Premium) benchmark here, ua-cam.com/video/FmrI_Ugpc5M/v-deo.html I was a bit disappointed with performance of the K970. It also translates in to raw performance when I do 4K video editing in Power Director on P20 Pro.

The S4 has been out for about a month now so can't really say much about battery life, however Snapdragon 835 processor that powers S4 os both smaller and more power efficient. The battery is also bigger. The main question is, what are you going to use the tablet for Rudy Boumon?
Even if they say it has 64 gb of memory how much can you actually use, when you have no installed apps on the device how much memory is free, please answer!!!
64GB is around 59GB, with the system taking around 10GB it's 49GB, and I've got some pics, videos, couple of games and it's 32GB. 128GB iPhone 8+ has 112GB out of the box.

Screen flicker is because you're filming it and the FPS doesn't keep up with the refresh rate
