I don't think Garnacho is worth £60 or £70M (how much would better players in the PL cost then?), but since we are talking about a young winger who's 20 and already plays regular football for a top club like Manchester United it doesn't make sense to sell him cheap just to get some liquidity. Napoli paid £70M for a 22-year-old Victor Oshimen from Lille back in 2020 or £40M for a 23-year-old Lozano in 2019, so they can indeed pay the fair asking price to Man United. The problem in my opinion is that Napoli don't really want Garnacho, and in all honesty he hasn't done enough in his career that justifies paying the money MU wants. I believe he'll end up staying past the transfer window deadline, we shall see. Although, I'm not against him leaving in the summer for the right fee, I don't think he will become an outstanding winger in the future, in my opinion he's weak in essentials virtues players in his position must have, like playmaking, 1vs1 dribbling, ability to create and assist. Garnacho reminds me a lot of Ji-sung Park and I think he will at best become a player of that calibre, both have (had) the ability to bring energy to the game, shoot a lot and score goals, top team players but not the crack of the team. Something funny (or maybe not) I was thinking the other day, we spent £85M for Antony after he did 1 or 2 good games in the Champions League against not so good teams and not a spectacular season at Ajax. PSG signed Barcola from Lyon for £37M in 2023 and last summer (2024) Bayern signed Olise for £48M, if people at United had their heads in the right place we would have walked away from the Antony deal in 2022 and bought Barcola in January. Last summer we would have refused to buy Zirkzee and would instead move forward with the Olise deal. I still believe we would be in the need of a rebuild today, but our wing options now would be Garnacho, Barcola, Olise and Diallo, with Mason Mount and Bruno able to play in these positions. It's a crazy non-story, but we would have been sorted for the next 6/7 years and would be in the position to negotiate Bruno and Mount today instead of young players that can evolve and become future stars like Garnacho or Mainoo (it's the price you pay when you're badly run). Hopefully this streak of making so many consecutive mistakes will stop.

@@SteveMUFC they can only recall him if they gonna sell him. So pay 80/90 millons or no deal. Galatasaray put that condition, You can't just recall him and do another loan.
More up-front, more add-ons, more sell-on, more buy-back... More, more more!! Osimhen loan would be craaazy
Napoli are not dumb idiots ; and they do what ever they want with Osimhen!
Nkunku & Joao Felix are good players btw. Both want to play as a 10 but Cole Palmer is there...
When is united going to put mark in charge because the club would literally be thriving
Napoli just punching thin air for Ganarcho. Don’t want him to go but Glineos are that desperate I can see him go to Chelsea for £55 million
Napoli is not punching anything; Manchester United is playing with Fire a Masochist ; playing greedy tricks on Napoli that at any moment can leave you and Chelsea with burning blames on your hands! Napoli are not idiots dumb, V.Osimhen is not moving anywhere!
Lecce are selling Dorgu as a winger, not as a wingback just like Leverkeusen would for Frimpong. That's why they're looking for 40mil.
Will have to sell Bruno in Summer with no Europe next year. May as well get it done now.
Real Madrid have sold their youth players for a combined total of more than £200M, do you hear their fans complain like this lil girl?
Mate your a 🔔 end, is your brain to small to understand our past and the principal on the matter
While winning leagues and champions leagues 😚🤷🏻♂️
@Dannyboyefc they even sold Odegaard. Imagine Mark's reaction if it had been United.
Am damn tied up with this Ganarcho Rashford, Release ONANA, SHAW, MOUNT c'on
Osimhen, wouldn't be able to play for us in earopa league since he already played for another team in the same competition.
Rashford's staying. Garnacho's leaving. Dorgu's arriving.
Mark you keep saying United can’t sell young players because we historically developed them but we can’t keep living on our history. Madrid city Chelsea etc don’t do that. We can’t keep living in the past. If a player has value and the manager doesn’t mind selling he should be sold. We need players for the now. You keep talking about the future but we are struggling now. If we get better now we will be able to spend more and get the better players later on. Stop it with the sentiment. The club is in 12th and it’s not like the kid is the biggest talent in the world
Garnacho isn't all that. He's good, but to say he's gonna be a superstar😂😂😂😂
Stop watching football mate
selling young players for profit is bad I DONT THINK THEY CARE IF ITS BAD OR NOT look what they have done already
Osimhen makes no difference. We'd honestly be better with Weghorst again the way we play...just somebody who can hold the ball and engage the 10s
Manchester United is playing with Fire a Masochist ; playing greedy tricks on Napoli that at any moment can leave you and Chelsea with burning blames on your hands! Napoli are not idiots dumb, V.Osimhen is not moving anywhere!
If Garnacho really wanted to stay he could just come out and say ' im not leaving this where i want to play my football ' but hes not doing that so he is just as responsible as the club are for all the rumours. It also makes me think hes keen on moving on if so let him go. Its getting boring now.
No chance Man U will sell Garnacho for as little as that, Napoli can dream on. The alternative is to do a swap with Osimhen and he can move in the summer. If we sell Garnacho the team will crumble and we will be relegated for sure.
I don’t think we can’t get oshimen on loan. I’m sure his current loan has a clause that says he can only be recalled if the agree fee is paid for him. Napoli can’t recall him to loan him to us
Bollocks
