- I Made A Map So Hard, 99% Failed On EASY Mode! BTD6 / Bloons TD 6 - I decided after several years since making my last challenge, to return and make an even harder one! Except the twist is to use only the features of map editor of which there aren't many challenge wise... here's what I came up with and the results of how many people actually beat it.

One can only imagine how low the win rate would be without those alternate solutions, but alas probably wasn't possible to cover every possible combination. Anyway mission accomplished :)

I honestly have no idea how I stumbled into that, I was getting desperate lol. Tbh I only thought of the glue because I tried the same with icicles first.

Similarly, it can be fun when there are cuts/exploits in speedruns or racing games.
Soooometimes in trackmania, a cut ruins a map for me bc it's just not fun to go for. But then i get to see cool videos of other people nailing it.

Great challenge, had a lot of fun min maxing dollars and lives and glad I could make it into the video! Also surprised no one else found a similar strategy to yours on the late 30s but it was cool seeing the different solutions.

This is more what I think the map editor should be, a combination of challenge editor + new fancy maps. Not just cool pixel art that also happens to be a map, although some art is cool if it's actually unique.
just let there be custom challenges off creator maps

The map was evil. I got so far and tried so hard and in the end it didn't even matter.
Creating the hardest challenge with only 1 possible solution being the intended solution is like telling a river to flow only in the exact way you want it to... Its possible but VERY VERY TEDIOUS and TIME CONSUMING.
Props though I tried a failed.
I think an easy way they could implement challenges in maps is just that you'd be able to bookmark maps from the map editor, and then select the map while making a challenge in the challenge editor

It is definitely crazy that the money is so sharp that even some cheese solutions can be removed if the removal costed the extra 63$
It was a little annoying that you can’t reuse props for multiple changes… I made a map that goes through 3 different versions of a town’s construction and i had to hide some things in the 2nd version under the first version

I spent a couple weeks making a nice map and it didn't get played despite re-uploading it on 3 different occasions. Kinda sad nothing gets played if it isn't posted somewhere

Tried to make snowy puddles. 3 path muddy puddles. Then I realized that I haven’t beaten muddy puddles.
You should now just update your map constantly until no one can submit another solution
I tried the deflation one and figured that out before looking for solutions but I couldn’t place towers fast enough bc mobile

being so restricted on placement space is really annoying, it's super easy to accidentally nudge your mouse like two pixels off and miss the spot making micro way harder than it needs to be. also makes playing on mobile basically impossible

Ive been picking up BTD6 again myself. Any tips for the easier modes for harder maps?
My strat is to js do sniper spam strats, works everytime i regrind the game
when you removed the obsticles, how did it not remove the iciciles? for me, it removes EVERY SINGLE PROP.

On mobile every time that I try to use the interactable area it crashes my game and regardless if my map was completely saved as soon as I add the interactable area and then try to click either sandbox or start a game before it even shows the map it crashes the system and erases everything that was there

Edit: now I remember why I stopped creating this map... this video and your little experience with the action menu is the only thing I have found of how to use this shit, literally there's nothing. (no I'm not going to Reddit for answers) and I just want to remove 2 trees to make a new path but I can only remove everything or hide everything, no in between.
Edit 2: HOLY SHIT I had to make a separate prop layer just with things I wanted to be removed and link it to the area.
Edit 3: it keep breaking and unlinking whenever I make adjustments to the props.
Edit 4: I entered the sandbox mode to check if it finally worked and when it did, I went to check if it broke... aaaand the game crashed. It's such a fucking mess man.
Edit 5: It looks like I found a glitch, when you enter sandbox mode and the last thing you were working on is the Interactive Area and then exit sandbox mode and try to edit the Interactive Area, it crashes the game. Anyway, I can only test the sandbox mode once for the Int. Area breaks. But it looks like exiting without saving and entering back solves the problem. I entered the edit and the functions are not broken. Still, I have to save every time I have to enter sandbox mode and exit without saving or it will crash.
Edit Last one: finished it, I could have kept making adjustments but in the end I gave up on the small details, anyway here's the map '''ZFKPRYH''

Day 10 of asking for the masterful challenge
Isab can only use monkeys which are the masters of their craft eg
Apex plasma master, top and bottom path ninjas, bloon master alchemist etc. Paragons such as master builder are allowed as well
Extra challenge is that this should be done with the mastery mode mod.
If too difficult minimal farm8ng is allowed.
I beat it on hard mode!
Also I'll check out the map, haven't tried it yet.
