The only time you need coil cleaner is if the coil is in a harsh environment like by a kitchen exhaust hood. Coil cleaner is a scam otherwise. How do I know this? 25 years in the trade. 💪

These UA-cam "technicians" are the worst thing that happened to our industry since the phasing out of R-22.

Not necessarily. If there is an old coil, you can see a lot of deposits even if it looks clean.
Do amp draw before and after coil cleaner.

@@b33b1m0v3 Are you doing amperage reads after the coil is 100% dry? We use leave blowers to blow water out of the micro channel coils.

@@WhowereEpsteinsclients it doesnt take too long for the coil to dry once the fan is on.
And yes. Before and after (dry coil) the amp is at least 3 amps different.

I remember when I was a kid I talked my Mother into buying some scrubbing bubbles....I was so confused 🤔 and I learned a valuable lesson... nothing is what it says and nothing replaced elbow grease. Them little scrubbing bubbles never cleaned my mother's bathtub...but I had to for a long time... Guess mother was teaching the rest of the lesson...Miss my Mother.

Why does it foam up? What is the proper process to apply and remove that cleaner? Why would you want to use that rather than just water? Is that acidic? Is harmful to pets? Vegetation?
