Despite clearly being 80s new wave/alternative in style, this doesn’t feel like it is mimicking it. It feels authentic. And it is incredible.
Experimental music isnt mimicking its having inspirations flow through music. I like new wave for its lack of criticism, nothing more triggering to me then a space with critics
@@teddybonzo8460 Not trying to guess your age but as an 80s kid, I heard tons of criticism of new wave growing up 🤷♂️ That genre was definitely not exempt from it. The 90s rolled around and the general populous even seemed to mock it/outright dislike it for a time.
This gives me nostalgia for something I didn't experience.
