One of the biggest challenges so far has definitely been driving. I'd never driven any vehicle before and on day one I found myself trying to turn the boat around! That and punting across the canal to get some water whilst our engine was being fixed!
Hi Mark. Liveaboard boater here myself. I was renting rooms in houses whilst saving up for my boat. I was in a 2 bed house before and sold everything before I moved out as I knew I’d be living on a narrowboat. Biggest challenge was moving onto the boat from the last room I was in as it was just me doing it.....that was tough but knew once it was done I was on my new forever home. 👍🏻😀
Hi Mark.. Camera angle is spot on. We're non liveaboards... but given that we were new to boating 2 years ago it was a hell of a learning curve..Great vlog.. 🍷🍷

Hiya, yes a 57ft narrowboat is the biggest you can go completely unrestricted. There are only a handful of stretches that larger cannot go and they are up north. I can't remember off the top of my head but I think it's only around 3 stretches of canal up Liverpool sort of area

Is there any where on the Canal system you can not go in a 61' narrowboat ??? Ive heard the optium length is 57" cheers Mate
