I own and Electra KUP 2 group for my restaurant and love it. As an Electra user I almost bough this one for my house. One thing I was warned about is the size of the steam boiler. It’s quite small and can easily be damaged if your trying to let’s say make a few coffee’s back to back if you have ppl over. I ended up going with the Quickmill Vertrano 2B in white with a FIORENZATO All Ground. Great Combo for the house.
Nice choice, the vetrano and the verve have the same size steam boiler at 1.6 lt. When you go dual boiler space is the issue so you hav to save it somewhere.

I love this, it looks gorgeous, it has features you typically only find on machines that are twice the price and it looks like it makes a great espresso. Literally the only gripe I have is currently it's only available in the light color wood, honestly I would love to see it offered in a darker wood or different colors where you see wood because I can see it replacing my QM67 if it had either a dark walnut trim package or black.

Nice machine. Apart from other nice features, the 'tall cup' ability might a winner for me were I looking. Only a little put off by the shallow portafilters, which I understand are limited to 18g max for the double spout handle. One seems to be forced to use a bottomless portafilter to use a VST 21g or 22g basket. Beautiful machine. Very nice presentation.
Elektra distributors are able to provide you with deeper handles when you purchase the machine to accommodate bigger baskets, be it VST, IMS, or whichever your preferred brand is. They also work fine with ridged and ridgeless baskets. The Verve is compatible with any 58mm portafilter too, so aftermarket accessories work fine!

The lever is smooth because it simply operates a switch, that group shroud is chromed plastic, and preinfusion doesn't work.
I have an old (1995) Elektra Microcasa Semiautomatica in the kitchen, which rotates duty with an E61-HX (Euro 2000 Junior). Both are great machines, my OH prefers the look of the Elektra MCSA, neither of us need a hot water outlet even tho the 'junior' has one. I have to be honest, the ability to vary brew-temp, pre-infusion and pressure 'easily' are making the Elektra 'Verve' seem very, very appealing. I was impressed with the build quality of my Elektra MCSA from the beginning. Nice little 'walk-around' mini-review....might just sway me from the Victoria-Arduino Eagle 1. Certainly more affordable. Edit: Looks like any future UG on my part won't be including the 'Verve' after all.....some complete horror stories out there :/
I like this beautiful looking Verde. Equipped with a saturated head. Yet need a scale to weigh my shots and time it. What do you think compared to the Bezerra Duo DE or MN? Keep the review coming. For my need upgrade.
I owned this machine for two years. It was a piece of junk. The app barely works. Steam died three times and had to have it repaired. They had issues with the initial run with heating elements. When the steam did work it was weak and left a lot to be desired. I traded it in for a Profitec 700.
The retailer stopped carrying the machine due to poor reliability. They also helped the majority of customers who owned them to get out of their purchase.
Really nice review again. It is a really interesting option but I m still going to save up for a mini. Really like the point you make about the e61 machines. I have a Breville Dual Boiler that I will eventually upgrade, but I simply don t like the look of all the e61 options. The price of the Verve here in Canada is really competitive for a saturated group. Is it noisy or if it sounds loud because of the recording? Keep up the good videos 👊🏻
It’s really a budget choice here as the verve is $1300 less than the other 2. So if it’s price go the verve. I have had a mini and loved it, so can’t go past it

Nah it’s awesome I got the naked as an optional extra and running a 22 gram basket. Banging and is perfect. Same timber milled handles… definite add on :)
I tossed up between the Verve and a Synchronika; even had a Verve on order but was personally a little nervous about the Wifi interface and things that could go potentially wrong in the future, so I got the Synchronika. Of course, even though being super happy with the ECM, you always wonder what could have been...
With machines like this I don't understand how Lamarzocco can charge so much for the mini... I just don't get it. Another thing I worry about is the trend toward IOT in the machines. I feel like this is a machine that will last 20+years. How long will the app be maintained?... and phone tech changes all the time. Just give me manual tech any day.
These apps are running from the wifi and essentially run from the internet. So it should be ok with new phones, the lm software is in all of there machines now so it will be maintained as there machines won’t work without it 😉
The pump in this machine is very bad and noisy.. I could not believe when I tried it myself that it was rotating I think it's a vibration pump The machine shakes clearly The company needs to modify the pump and put one like the one on the Provitec Pro 800 Then it will be the best machine It has a wonderful and attractive shape A masterpiece It must not be completed Also, the place of the inner tank must be covered and hidden completely with a decent cover
Totally not practical esp the water tank also the wood is a problem for staining. A purely paid promo. If you want to go this route spend the extra money and buy the Decent. Hasn’t been surpassed yet despite the bs from Artisti. This guy is so self full of himself he ruins the channel

Yes correct on the lever, that’s the same as a linea mini and many other machines to activate a switch for the pump. 👍🏻

I had the Linea Mini for 4-5 years and sold it for the Elektra Verve… it’s definitely different but I love the coffee making experience on the Verve
