here in the Philippines 🇵🇭 though, the F-150 Lariat costs ₱3.4M ($57k USD) & the F-150 Raptor costs almost ₱9M ($150k). The Ram TRX is more expensive here at ₱9.5M (almost $160k USD)
45k USD convert to aud with tax 76 , NOT 120k onwards , that is taking the piss , I understand the conversion to right , but far out , really is taking the piss. Nice review.
Still no mention of payload. A lot of buyers are going to be caravaners and we need to know the payload. After you take off the tow ball download and the passengers and a full tank of fuel, how much is left for the tub? Ford will not tell me, every review never mentions it. I would order one now if I could find out .
They cannot give a payload figure yet because they need to do the conversions first and then weigh multiple vehicles after the conversion to get the tare. Then they will work with that figure.
Ford should use their brains and bring the diesel and as usual we aussies always get the old left over models and we get bent over with pricing, these utes/trucks are getting out of control cost wise
@@PROCOPO with euro 6 emission standards looming they are more likely to get detuned the euro 6 v6 diesel is detuned 11HP just saw the 2024 wildtrak x is only getting the 2L bi turbo because the 3L v6 won't meet euro 6 nothing diesel can be considered sporty or high performance laggy in the bottom end dead by 3000rpm
I hope Ford put a Watt's link rear end like we used to have in some Ford Falcons such as the XE falcon in nearly all the F-150's or at least make an optional suspension package containing a Watt's link rear end. Obviously not including the Raptor and Lightning as they both have different rear suspension. It should be a better suspension setup than the current Tundra and a big improvement over leaf springs if optioned. And I also hope the PowerBoost Hybrid version is part of the lineup on offer when to they arrive in Australia soon. The ability to have 240 volt AC outlets in the rear bed is a tradies and campers dream as well as the vehicle having excellent performance and fuel economy. The American love affair with the F-150 is well deserved. 😎👍
While Aussie peso ($) is at US$0.64 , nothing imported from US is worth it! I wouldn't swap my 20 year old F250 with Powerstroker 7.3 for todays electronic crap.
If you live in Australia then you don't know either. I live where they are solid and in the long star state are the popular vehicles. Trust me these will have issues. @@paulhunter9613
@@medz3398 US Ford is amazing. We get the absolute worst trucks here in Australia. This f150 has nothing going for it, and for the pricetag here in Aus it's a complete rip off
@@sam7670 what other trucks do you think they get? They have the ranger, the f150 and the smaller than ranger maverick. They have more engine choices in the f150 over there.
I'd pay anything for a Aussie produced Ford raptor r
Won't you rather have the RAM TRX ?!
It sounds terrific mate, but I feel the Ford is more reliable and I can get it fixed easily unlike the RAM...
You can get a fully loaded one in North America for $80,000 a base model one for $32,500
Yeah the price of importation and conversion make it way more expensive here.
@@carsalesand you guy’s reviewing have an obligation to call these rip offs out, but you don’t.

what diesel they killed the 3L power stroke v6 diesel in the states 2.5 years ago after selling hardly any of them
I’d be happy with the V6 that’s in the Ranger just with more power

For the same price I could get another car and actual therapy.
A top spec 2.8 GD6 Hilux and a lot of change

it's Aussie dollar & not peso, Peso is used in Philippines & most of Latin America
Is that a huge truck or are you 5 feet tall ?😅
Yes
Ute is sooo small...we prefer full size American pick up
It's better be a V8 alas not on F-150 like the Chevrolet Silverado.
Those prices are horrible. Not worth it especially with the engines turbo charge issues.
At least you proved to everyone you don’t know much

This doesnt even come close to the Silverado or Ram 1500, they are both a class above this.

Silverado 1500 is ok. Not as good as the F150 in terms of engine or interior. What you really want (but don’t know it), is the PowerBoost
This reminds me of the Leyland P76. Built for bogans.
Ultimately V8 is a V8 😡
The v8 is slower, it should work better for you
