      Small "Stop the bleed" trauma kit from True Rescue site is 20% off ending today! I picked up the premium kit. Tourniquet, chest seals, quick clot gauze, gloves, survival blanket, permanent marker (to mark when Tourniquet was applied) trauma sheers, etc...$93. Excellent thing to have if you ever need to help someone who went down or heaven forbid, yourself.

    Awesome video. The wipes are more important than most would think. As for the tire plug kit, we have to make sure we have one made for motorcycle tires. A few years ago, I had to patch a guy's bike on a trip, and the plug kept pushing out after a few miles. It was a headache to have to keep plugging it back up until we got to a dealership.

    You'll have a great time in Nova Scotia riding the Cabot Trail as it has some amazing views! We rode up there from Illinois a few years ago and it was absolutely an amazing trip! Fresh lobster was amazing. Enjoy

    Yes yes finally someone comes out and says bring baby wipes or water wipes they are so handy extremely handy for camping as well one thing I would add would be a jump starter and you can use it to charging phones and as a power supply and for pre-trip set up I make my clothes repel water it helps in a rainstorm when it hits you suddenly but is no means to substitute for rain gear I use
    Nikwax on my Jean shirt to help repel water the little preset up goes a long way and yes it is easy to do a lot of the younger Riders don't know a preset up a clothing camping gear and waterproofing tents and spray tent and clothes with long lasting bug spray beforehand and I would also carry a headlamp

    I am building a go bag . Everyone travels with what they feel is important . A few things in addition you may want to acquire they are cheap do not rake up much room and light. The value is high. Gauze, bleed stop, and tourniquet . I also keep a few nitrile gloves, a great barrier in case of accident.

    We rode up from Pittsburgh is nice then. They have discovery card does not charge you a premium. At least they didn’t the last time I checked. Most other cards charge you at least 3% might be more now. And if you go use American cash, they round it off dollar for dollar, so I find myself using my charge card.. and when you get over to Nova Scotia, we had a hard time finding high test, especially on the cabinet trail seen a moose. It’s beautiful beautiful ride beautiful ride. So I use octane boost. You should keep some with you. No problem getting gas. It’s just a quality. I had to change spark plugs when I got home you have a great trip. That is an awesome trip. I travel with my wife so heated gear leather jacket maybe a sweatshirt and rain gear. If you need something stopping by it. Ship everything home have a great time !!! and my hair is just about like yours beautiful😅

    Take extra batteries for your fob or know your passcode yeah check your plug You should do this every spring time so you’re good. Don’t forget to take your make up and something for your hair to make it shiny and curly.

    There is plenty of gas. The only thing you might want to take is a gas additive of octane boost. The only problem I had was getting premium gas. You can get all the gas you want. That’s crazy not going to Alaska.

    Regarding "rain gear", have you ever consider the Klim riding gear? That way you're all set- great riding gear and you don't have to consider stopping to put on rain gear when you're already wet.

    Make sure you go to the Halifax, Maritime Museum, and the Cabot Trail. Check with your charge card companies to see if they charge you to another country I know for a fact, discovery does not. They will not give you your primary exchange if you’re using cash.

    There are stores along your route if you need something you can stop and buy them. You don’t need to carry all that shit rain year sandals or flip-flops. I usually carry four days plus what I have on me of clothes, but I ride with my wife, she gets one bag I get the other. Zip ties mostly. You shouldn’t need anything really good tires and air compressor and plugs. You should be good to go. Jacket and heated here. You should be good to go. If you need something stop and buy it. If you buy stuff on the road ship at home most places you buy stuff from will do that for you at no cost.

    • @RidingandWrenching

    I've watched several videos of you packing for trips. So. Time you pack all of it. Where do ride at? Cause I'd run out of room for sure. No room for the old woman or a change of shorts..

    • @RidingandWrenching
      @RidingandWrenching  Місяць тому

      It's not that much stuff. Most of the items in this video are packed into the right saddlebag (compressor, patch kit, rain gear. I keep spare gloves, chaps, other riding gear in the left saddlebag. Tourpack is where I store anything else. I generally ride alone, so I strap my luggage to the passenger seat. If I need more space, I strap things to the luggage rack on the tour pack. The CPAP battery is new. I won't be traveling with it unless I think I need it.
