the virusTI will work with any DAW. for ableton you just open a midi channel and add the Virus to the channel. The issue that people are having with the VirusTI these days, is that the software has not been ported over to the new silicon macs (M1 and M2 chips). So if you have one of these new macs you will need to use mystery island which is a 3rd party software to connect hardware synths

final mix is a bit of a process, but I find it manageable by following a systematic approach, I'll make this a topic for a new video
