Solar Changing Gel Polish: Solar Powder

- Now these Solar Powders are so fun to play with! I have featured Grateful in this video, but we have 5 other colours to choose! We also have Loving (pink/fuchsia), Joyful (blue), Peaceful (coral), Creative (yellow) and Adventurous (orange). These powders, mixed with Clearly Frisky or Simply Clear, will create a solar changing gel polish that will change colour when exposed to the sun (UV Rays). When you head back inside, they change back to it's milky natural form as you can see in this video! I'll be sure to create a few more videos and shorts showing some of them!

They are! You can even put a base colour on of your choice and then put one of these Solar powders on top for a different look in the sun!

What would you say the ratio is for powder to frisky/simply? I tried about 60/40 polish/powder but found it was like trying to paint my nails with cake icing...
Yes I can see that being too thick with that ratio. I would say, 5 dollops of CF with 1 scoop (or 2 half scoops for better management) for one hand. Increase your Clearly Frisky or reduce the powder. You want the polish to still be able to self level.
Do you think it could be mixed with Halo There for a different look?
I think it might be worth a shot but I'm not sure how much of the polish will change. The sun needs to be able to penetrate the polish to activate the Solar Powder but with Halo There being a bit sheer, you might get a bit of a change, just not as dramatic as with Clearly Frisky or Simply Clear. Definitely worth a shot though!
It would certainly be interesting, getting that chrome effect with a dramatic colour flip in the sun...some experiments are in order
Curious.. do you have to mix the powder? Could you not apply like a chrome?
This powder will not stick to a freshly cured nail as it doesn't act like the chrome. It needs to be mixed.
