“You want to own consciousness too.” I love this! Another great video! I get confused sometimes but your clarity helps me so much on my path. Thank you.
That's exactly what I was wondering when I asked about the concept "follow your heart". It makes us think about separate things inside us such as soul, Higher-self, heart, inner child... In the end of the day, they are just more mental activity. I always struggle about making decisions. I guess I just have to decide something and let go of trying to figure out if it's a decision coming from "my soul" or coming from "my ego", and just trust.
As Bashar says, "follow your highest excitement", what ever choice gives you the most "good feeling" is the one to go with ( that is your heart). Then have faith that you have made the best decision at that time. Your heart tells you what excites you, your mind likes to think in terms of protection, not getting it wrong, getting hurt, looking stupid etc. This is usually based on things that happened in childhood and in the past. It is all fear based, and not always for your highest good. It's job is to prevent "discomfort" at any cost, but often it is through pain and mistakes that we learn the most, grow and eventually experience more joy.
First of all, thank you to the wonderful person who asked this question. I have been getting lost in this recently too, due to other things I am studying. Thank you so much Sunny for this wonderful and concise explanation. This is a huge wake up and reminder for me. Blessings to you Sir. .. PS The part at the end about Electricity, and toasters, lights etc. was perfect. I understood that big time. 🙏
Hi Sunny thank you so much for your viedos, I have been watching lots of them lately and your explanations are really clear. I wanted to ask you, how much times of the day is it recommended to meditate and for how long?
The thing about this is that if you don't already have the full experience of the true self, you are still associated with the mind, and if you are still associated with the mind, whenever you meditate you might trick yourself into believing you have found your true self, and when this happens you start to watch your thought process from the position of the mind instead of the position of the true self. When this happens you become involved into those thoughts in a way and you essentially start to "think about observing your thinking," and that is when you start to feel anxious. To solve this you must learn to take a full step all the way back and instead WATCH the person that is thinking about observing their thinking. Explaining this stuff to the average person is not easy because their true self is not yet in their perception so they watch their thoughts from the position of their mind falsely thinking that they are watching their thoughts from their true self but the reality is that they are not doing that and that is why it is a problem. This is interesting because when we tell the average person to not associate with their mind and ego, we are technically telling them to stop thinking that THEY are real because the only thing that they know is their mind and ego. Another thing that is interesting is that this whole paragraph (including this sentence) is just a bunch of conclusions my mind has made, and when I say "my mind," that is technically my MIND saying "my mind" because I am not speaking from my true self, nobody can speak as they are their true self because whenever you talk it is the mind that is projecting its thought process.
Sunny I have a question so I understand we are always aware and the reason we suffer is because we believe we are wat we observe but can we control wat we are aware of like imagination can we be so indulged in our imagination that we could control our physical body and world I guess I’m asking how does awareness and imagination work together is it just the mind images because I feel pretty aware and present when I’m imagining things .
The act of ‘showing love to a higher Self’ is what is referred to as devotion (Bhakti) in Vedantic schools of thought. From the Advaita perspective, at the level of appearance, there is a distinction between Īśhvara (Consciousness with the power of Māyā as the material, intelligent and instrumental cause of the universe. It Consciousness associated with the totality of the universe - it is the Cosmic Dissolution, the Cosmic Mind and the Cosmic Universe) and the Jīva (Consciousness delimited by a portion of Māyā as Avidyā (ignorance) which causes the delusion of a ‘separate egoic self’). At the transactional/empirical level of Reality, devotion to a ‘higher Self’ (the all-pervading Īśhvara - the ‘God of religion’) is possible. This devotion is very useful for a) renouncing the sense of doership of actions and their fruits in the spirit of Karma-Yoga. This leads to the purification of the mind which can be instrumental in the reflection of Consciousness for Self-Knowledge. b) devotion is useful in order to concentrate ones mind through Bhakti Yoga or Upāsanā (the Path of Devotion or the Path of Concentration). The concentration can focus the mind which can pave the way for realisation. For these purposes, and in this sense, devotion to a ‘higher Self’ is conducive to Jñāna-Yoga (the path of Knowledge or Self Enquiry). By Advaitic spiritual masters, purification of the mind through Karma-Yoga, concentration of the mind through Bhakti-Yoga or Upāsanā and self-enquiry through Jñāna-Yoga can bring about liberation. Self enquiry alone brings liberation, but other practices are necessary for the majority of us to prepare the mind for liberation.
My experience is that "I am" is my divine self. It is love flowing through me. Mind, body, outer reality are mirroring the degrees of acceptance and flowing of this love.
Brilliant, such simplicity, clarity 🙏🏻
"Love of being conscious is self-love." Very nice.

Yes, correct
I often enter heart-Brain coherence through mediation, and if the heart brings a good feeling I go with that.
@@RobbeyT1 can you give more details? Let's say that you have to do an important decision, what do you do exactly?

Thank you!
So good
Awesome 🙏🙏
Excellent Sunny. Thank you again.
What is the difference between God and our higher self
Wait you kind of answered this in the vid! The existence of difference or separation is an illusion
Yes. Is there a difference?
