The songs in this are great outdoors, life’s no picnic without you ,on the road again ‘we can make it to the top ,California bears ,two different worlds ,rocky top Tennessee ,nature ,singing in the rain ,ghost riders in the sky ,on my way to your heart and thank god I’m a country 🐻
the Country Bear Jamboree still exists in Florida however they only show the original show (albeit in an abridged form since the middle of this month that debuted with the park in 1971. the version in this video ran in Florida from April 196 until November 1991 (The Original show returned in February '92)
Interesting Fact: The Country Bear Jamboree at CLOSED at Disneyland on Sunday, September 9th, 2001. That's 2 days before the 9/11 attacks on the United States.
@Dest. Disney Forget what I wrote, but notice how no one laughed at Big Al or the others. They only laughed at Liver-Lips and Henry(during Teddi's song). Also, it seems that Big Al isn't off tune any more? His song also seems longer and his voice isn't drunk sounding.
@Luciferminusone I heard a clapping track in my recording too, which is on the Disneyland boxed set. Maybe they just pipe it in thru the surround to elicit real clapping from the audience, the same way they pipe in some Tiki Room vocals from the back so you can't tell if the audience is really singing along or not.
ema lovely same here. Every time I ride WTP I keep hearing either thje Vacation Hoedown or christmas Special soundtracks in my head (I don't care too much for the Original show (even moreso now since Florida butchered it, leaving Max,Buff & Melvin to pratically "cameo" status
I have never ever seen the original version in person, I only saw vacation hoedown at Disneyland about a month or two before it closed down, and I don't remember much because I was really young. It's sad that I will never be able to see the original version in person especially now since Florida shortened it. I'll admit it was a bit lengthy but they could've shaved off 5 mins rather than half of the show. Oh p.s. my favorite song from Vacation Hoedown is 'Ghostriders in the Sky' I love they way the bears sing it :D
Thanks for posting this! My first trip was in 2002, when I think they were doing renovations for Pooh (I just remember this was closed), so the only CB I knew was from the Sing-Along Songs tape and the awful movie the year after. Finally saw the original show in Florida last fall, and this is nice, but I really prefer the original.

so ironic that pooh is the last character in the video and that you see him heading into the building. I miss this attraction, the pooh ride is not as good
The singing and clapping is not a track or a recording, all of it is in the video he recorded. It might have messed up when he downloaded it to UA-cam. You can tell if it's real or not.
One more thing - I'm not sure if it's the show or the video, but the audio, at least for Big Al, really doesn't match up. His lips look like he's singing something else.
You notice that "The Great Outdoors," "Thank G-d I'm a Country Bear," "Rocky Top," "Ghost Riders," (all clapping on the downbeats) and "California Bears" (clapping on the two and four) are pretty much the only times the audience is clapping properly? The one-and-three clapping during "We Can Make It To The Top" and "Life's No Picnic Without You" (and, to a degree, "Some Bears Are Partial To Nature") sound completely jarring and square.
+Josh Freilich exactly! even while watching the Main Street Electrical Parade Guests clapping would be off tempo (this was back when they were using the old soundtrack) the clapping got better when we Iswitched to the Dreamlights hybrid version (that version is all 2 beat tempo whereas thold version was mostly 2 beats with the exception of one 3 beat measure)

i miss this show A LOT
***** i do too. it's WAY better than the Original show and even moreso now that Florida butchered it.
I remember this back in 1990. Some of the bears have changed, but the same music.
that banner announcing the closing was on Ebay this past weekend
+Danny Eyheralde this made me extremely sad :(

@@zval101well now they will remove the original show and replace it with boring Disney songs, you can only see the full show at Tokyo now 😢
this is my favorite, thank you
This was far superior to the current "Winnie the Pooh" ride.

lamest idea to evict the bears for pooh

I wish Disneyland didn’t take the country bears out it was one of my favorite attractions I was there back in 94 it was fun
Wow, what a bastard, even though they still there, Pooh be walking in like he owns the place already.
All right. Sorry if I sounded like I was complaining; I was just kind of curious. Thanks for uploading this, since I never got to see it!
I miss this show. The Winnie-the-Pooh ride is cute an' all, but I'd rather have the Bears.
Yeah. The video had issues when I transferred it years ago.
That nice

Disney said that the vacation hoedown was broken but in this video I just think that they lied to all of us just so they can make a Pooh ride
It was while they were programming it, nothing with the Pooh ride was involved with that
@hotone23 you are correct a slighhtky Japanese tailored versionn of this show runs in Tokyo the dfirst week of June io Novemmber
@Luciferminusone Its the people in the crowd clapping
