Years and years of such a silly running joke and yet it still makes me laugh when Graham Garden says, "No, that was my word." 😂
It gets me every stupid time. And I think it gets Jack 3 out of 4, though he's such a pro it's impossible to tell

The remark is drawing a parallel to the fact that there is a common understanding (joke), that busses don’t always come on time, (and occasionally two will come at the same time!) Hence the manufacturers brothers dying (coincidentally) “at roughly the same time”

Can someone explain the Alfredo Garcia joke, I’ve gone back years and years and I still don’t know the origins of it 😂😂
There was a movie called "Bring me the head of Alfredo Garcia". For years, Graham Garden has managed to shoehorn it into the various "titles" rounds. It just became a running joke between him and the audience as to how he would manage it, depending on the setup by the chairman. E.g. Titles that would appeal to hair salonists: "Bring me the Head And Shoulders of Alfredo Garcia". It's just one of several long-standing jokes that Graham invented.

Sadly, for me Andy, Hamilton with his awful whining voice is in the same league as Sandi Toksvig with her grating voice but then I guess they are BBC 'luvvies'

Andy Hamilton is frikkin hilarious, a quick and ready wit, a great comedy writer and voice actor, check out his two radio comedies on 4 extra, as The devil in Old Harrys Game and as a cockney soldier in Baltimore just as the American war of independence is about to kick off in Revolting People.
