There was a movie called "Bring me the head of Alfredo Garcia". For years, Graham Garden has managed to shoehorn it into the various "titles" rounds. It just became a running joke between him and the audience as to how he would manage it, depending on the setup by the chairman. E.g. Titles that would appeal to hair salonists: "Bring me the Head And Shoulders of Alfredo Garcia". It's just one of several long-standing jokes that Graham invented.
Kevin: The remark is drawing a parallel to the fact that there is a common understanding (joke), that busses don’t always come on time, (and occasionally two will come at the same time!) Hence the manufacturers brothers dying (coincidentally) “at roughly the same time”
@@m.j.nicholls Thanks for taking the time to reply and for all your hard work in posting all these old episodes! Sadly, for me Andy, Hamilton with his awful whining voice is in the same league as Sandi Toksvig with her grating voice but then I guess they are BBC 'luvvies' Best wishes from Toulouse, France.
Andy Hamilton is frikkin hilarious, a quick and ready wit, a great comedy writer and voice actor, check out his two radio comedies on 4 extra, as The devil in Old Harrys Game and as a cockney soldier in Baltimore just as the American war of independence is about to kick off in Revolting People.
Thank you for this channel. I used to buy the cd’s of the shows, but then couldn’t get them anymore. This is such a treat 😃🇦🇺
Years and years of such a silly running joke and yet it still makes me laugh when Graham Garden says, "No, that was my word." 😂
It gets me every stupid time. And I think it gets Jack 3 out of 4, though he's such a pro it's impossible to tell
@@prince.mushroom Yeah, he's definitely caught Jack out a couple of times even though he knows it's coming every single time! 🤣
Absolutely! He also gets me every time. Love it. X
I could listen to a compilation of those all day! 🤣
@@Sheffield_Steve You?
Thank you MJ Nicholls!
36:12 three of the best renditions of the punk era but Jeremy Hardy is absolutely epic as Sting! RIP J, B &T.
I have really missed that fabulous singing voice of his! 🤣
Who could believe the show could go on without Humph ?..... but Jack does a fantastic job and brings his excellent style with it.
Tim's sheer commitment to his songs is legendary 😂💜
2:17:07 Electrician’s songbook and especially its intro. 🤣
2:40:48 the Bohemian Rhapsody conversation is exceptional writing! ⭐️⭐️
Bohemian rhapsody is amazing!
Thank you.
Jeremy and the Police😂❤
Meisterwerk !
Graeme nailed the Sex Pistols and Anarchy in the UK 😊😂 Jack is brilliant presenting this show😊👍🔥😂 2:09:34 oh Jack
Cheers Mark. Lots of ISIHAC this week!
I don't get the Uxbridge 'detonation' gag - the answer was 'Greece' but I just can't link the two!

Can someone explain the Alfredo Garcia joke, I’ve gone back years and years and I still don’t know the origins of it 😂😂

@@bazcuda that’s brilliant thank you! 😃
@@whatonearth9809 You're very welcome.

I get a little sense of giddy pride when I properly predict the one he’s going to use!

I must live where the public transportation is more reliable.
When are we going to see the US version?
Im joking
There was a lot of this show in the original British Whose Line Is It Anyway, which then had a massively successful US version, so there's that.
😂😂😂
Bit greedy with the ad frequency don’t you think?
UA-cam decides the frequency. Get adblock
RIP the team on Jack's right.
And half the team on his left 😞

Hello Cheeky!
LOL. Not heard that for ages.
What's so funny about bus manufacturers?
One of Elvis Costello's less well known songs.
It's from an old saying, "You wait ages for a bus, and then two come along at once".
Another great series! But please get rid of the awful Andy Hamilton with his whining voice. He is not funny.
Try listening to him in earlier seasons with Humph... Hamilton is hilarious in those
