Hello Mikaila, I’m so happy seeing how happy you are having the Betty’s Kitchen plaque ❤❤❤ so meant for you! I honestly believe sometimes I’m just a conduit of finding treasures to share and pass on to others❤❤❤ like a little messenger of God-His wink to you from here in NC☺️ Your haul was awesome! Those wonderful finds! Those first set of 3 candle holders are so unique and gorgeous! You could top them with bottle brush trees or red Christmas balls too for a change instead of a candle. Love the carnival glass…the details, colors and shape! Incredible find❤
Yes, it made me so happy and I thank you so much again for it! That is so cool that God uses you like that, he is letting you help him bring smiles to others, how special of a mission! Thank you!
I'm so blessed for you, Dusty is definitely a blessing from God. I know just how you feel i lost my granny this past July a couple of days before leaving for a missions trip to Africa, the Lord just covered me with his comfort and love and reminded me how happy my granny was when I told her i was going to Africa, she was 75 when she she went to Africa on a missions trip over 25yrs ago. Those ash buckets are beautiful, ehat a wonderful haul, I know it's going to look beautiful when you get them up. Much love and blessings to you.
Yes she is! I'm so sorry for the loss of your Granny, it is never easy to lose our loved ones...especially when we have a close relationship with them. I bet your Granny was extremely proud that you we're following where God lead you and I bet it gave her so much peace seeing you follow that path! Thank you so much and so much love and blessings to you to! Hope you have a great weekend :)
Hello my sweet friend! Excited to see your haul!😊 I collect the copper jelly molds too! I have all those except the 2nd one. I really like finding the older ones with the brass piece attached to hang them from. But they're a bit pricier. I have about half oils one & half newer ones like these. I love the black & brass candle holders, they have that old French country look to them. The first brass piece is a scuttle.. PLEASE google Lens it!! I think its a vintage mid 20th century piece & if its the one I'm almost sure it is, you have a nice treasure! I have a brass scuttle like your copper one with the blue & white ceramic handle. The brass tray is really pretty! Great price for that lot! The carnival glass dish kids another pretty piece. I remember my grandma had a round blue bowl on her dresser when i was little. I have a blue candy dish with lid & a small amber oblong dish i keep on my vanity as a trinket dish. You know I collect old lamps, love that chamber/hurricane style lamp!❤ Candle holders or anything with the little loop handle is a 'chamber' candle holder or whatever the piece is. Back before homes had electricity, oof course people hissed candles, hurricane & oil lamps. In those days the ladies called their bedrooms their chambers. The candle holders had the little loop to carry them by, up the stairs & dark hallways, so the could see how to get to their chambers. The eagle or bird does look like the Hunger Games bird! Ohh my goodness..Dusti is one of the absolute sweetest souls I've ever known! She's precious & i love her dearly! She's honesty A real true friend & I'm so grateful & lucky to have her as one of my dearest friends! She has A heart of gold!❤ That's so sweet that she wanted you to have that plaque! Love all the pieces she gifted you! That probably was a little window valance, but i would def use it as a table scarf or runner, its beautiful! You really had a great haul! Enjoyed watching!😊 I pray you have a blessed weekend!🙏🏻❤
Hello there my friend! Thank you for watching! Those copper molds we're the first one's I have ever got and I think I am going to be shopping for more lol. You are so right, those candle holders do have a french country look to them! I will definitely google lens that piece! Thank you for sharing that knowledge about the candle holder, I love to learn from others who know more than me! Doesn't it look like the Panam bird?! So crazy right? Dusti is the sweetest person, I feel so blessed to have met her here online and to be her friend, God is so good :). I hope you have a blessed weekend as well! I love getting to chat each week!
You have gotten some lovely items this time, again. I did want to mention for information purposes, that the copper molds may be copper coated. You can check them with a magnet. A magnet won't stick to copper. Also, if you look around the edges or handles, not necessarily on the bottom of the brass items, you may find a mark. Sometimes they are even included within the pattern. You might find more information if there is a mark hidden somewhat in plain sight, so to speak. The twist design on the pumpkin is an exaggerated vine, as can be seen on a real pumpkin plant that would be used to attach itself to a fence or something of that nature. I actually rather like the exaggerated vine like that, and I have an affinity towards the blown glass pumpkins that Matha Stewart is famous for. No, I do not own any, but they are beautiful. Your friend Dusty was very kind and definitely knows your eclectic design choice, which I agree with whole heartedly.
Thank you! Thank you as well for your knowledge, I will try that magnet trick, that is a handy thing to know for future purchases! I will also look around the handles of things from now on. I like the exaggerated vine as well, it is not like any other pumpkins that I have, I love having unique pieces. Yes, Dusti is very sweet and I feel blessed to call her my friend :). I hope you have a great weekend! Thank you for watching and for your knowledgeable and kind comments each week, I really appreciate them!
@dearmikaila BTW, I just received our Boroux water filter system. The city ran new waterlines from each of the houses, on our street, to the curb, so no more lead waterlines. Between the new line and filtering system, we should have great water for drinking and cooking. We had a small filtering system that I am so glad to have had but at the same time, happy to be able to replace it with something better 😊. I enjoy your videos because oftentimes you obtain things that I once owned myself. 😉
@@raneemilliman7130 I hope you like it as much as I do! The filters last for such a long time and I love how you don’t need electricity or anything to use it, it’s all gravity fed!
You found some great items! I believe the item that says made in India is brass. The carnival glass looks like a fruit bowl, my great Aunt had so pretty! Enjoy your weekend.
Hello Mikayla, boy i remember the Carnival glass! My Grandma & Mom had a lot of it! Wish I was into it all those years ago? Love you! You got some good deals on some Good Items!❤❤
Those molds you bought are actually painted aluminum...they are not actually copper metal. It might not matter to you, but I just wanted to make sure you know so you do not over pay. (want to look out for you, not trying to be a know-it-all).😘 The little coal scuttle you picked up is true copper!!!!
Thank you for sharing your knowledge! I did not know that, I only paid $1 a piece for them so I got a great price…I’m glad I didn’t pay up for them! I love when people share the knowledge they have, you are not a know-it-all lol. I love the scuttle! It feels so heavy compared to those molds 🥰
Thank you for your genuine self! Dusty is very special... it probably brought her just as much joy to gift you those items! God bless you both! ❤️❣️
Thank you for your kind comment! Dusti is the sweetest, I just love her :). God bless you to!
