Where did you get your seats? I’ve seen them combined with the fitting kit but I’ve not heard that resistors are included in that kit? If they aren’t which resistors did you end up using?
I'm pretty sure they came with the kit, we get them direct from the factory. Cheers
If you physically and electronically delete the egr , and install a catch can / oil separator (even two of them)...
Are there any chances of swirl flaps surviving or will they still get broken/brittle and the engine will then still eat them ? The idea of having swirl flaps per se is not that bad , it would be like having on a gasoline engine , individual throttle bodies but twice as many.
Also I think the very first BMW used aluminum swirl flaps but vibrations used to shake them off the engine , so BMW turned to plastic flaps. Is this true or was it just going the cheap route ?

It's easier to just delete them, saving time and money they will disintegrate over time and still break off. The mechanism that controls them tends to leak also, causing problems. We've got a blog on them here www.darksidedevelopments.co.uk/Blog/killer-swirl-flaps/

I had a swirl flaps fall in on my M57 engine, took the engine with it since they are made from metal.

@@DarksideDevelopments how much do you charge for a swirl flap, egr and dpf delete on a 2016 F30 335d?
I also have a Mini Cooper SD (F56/B47)with 150,000 kilometers and tuned to 220HP. When I accelerate for a longer period of time around 4000RPM, black smoke comes out of the exhaust. Garage indicated that it was the swirl flaps and that it would cost me 800 euros to have it replaced. Any advice on what to do? Because of the emission rules in the Netherlands, i can’t delete the swirl flaps.
If you won't erase them you need to replace the manifold!

should be better to leave the swirl flaps in for the low end power right? or can you map it out? know someone sells an up rated intake manifold for the n47 probably do one for ya 325d
They only work at super low loads
@@DarksideDevelopments for track I doubt it'll matter but for every day driving its night and day done it myself and the turbo spools up faster 1500rpm instead of 2000/2500
That's not true for the 100s of cars we tune, first job is always to bin the swirl flaps
@@DarksideDevelopments you should do a before and after see what it is and if its noticeable on the graph I'm sure it must be shame your not closer as I'd of liked a before and after run to really see if it's placebo
