Maybe it’s because I listen to metal a lot so that’s what I always play on drums but I actually find blast beats and crazy fills like that to be the easiest part of drumming. Timing and managing your tempo is much harder than just having a fast double kick imo

@@PreciseOnYT i agree that the video is innacurate, drumming is an art, but if you practise everyday you’ll improve more than he has. 6 years for the 1 month slide is low, ive played for 6-7 years and cant play a lot of things cuz i havent practised enough. If i had id be way better.

Honestly I was playing that 1 week beat on day 1. Well, not the double strokes on the kick but it isn't that hard. But the one month isn't really that accurate.

@@kas36spires Thanks! Some time ago I felt pretty bad about my drumming, happily I don't have a problem with it anymore as I taught myself a lot and accepted my abilities and possibilities. Actually I really enjoy myself while drumming. :D

I've been playing for 6 years and i started playing some Metallica songs only some week ago. I know that i'm still bad and every time i see a kid playing better that me i think: "woah, what i have done for all this time?" But then i remember:" i did what i wanted to do, why should i care if other people are a lot better than me?"

It’s so inaccurate lol. 1week should at least be 1 month, which should be like 6 months. Good drummers aren’t just fast, they should be articulate and creative as well

Idk man I started playing a kit and only had half a year experience and I play for a church now, not impossible
I’m 15 but 3 years ago I decided to go on a drum kit a week later I could already play 50% of nirvana songs cleanly was playing for about 5 months so after that I could play many songs including slipknot haven’t been on a kit since but If I can drum like I air drum ill slay a drum kit now better than I would’ve 3 years ago!

As a 5 year drummer, there is no way you are using double kick and open high hat at the same time after 1 week

Bruh do you have a teacher? You need to get one and practice everyday at least one hour if you really want to get good. If you're a beginner focus on rudiments, limb independence, dynamics, technique and posture, as well as on the philosophical side of drumming like it's role in music, when and when not to play, styles of music etc. But most importantly, get a good instructor. Hope it helps.

Para los bateristas que vean este video y piensen que es así, realmente lo que define a un buen baterista no es la cantidad de velocidad que puedas tener o el uso de doble pedal, los mejores bateristas en su mayoría usan un solo pedal, además de que lo que dice que el hizo en un mes, se consigue en poco mas de 1 año tocando el instrumento, pues requiere ritmica que se consigue con la peactica consecutiva y ademas independencia que si eres un baterista completamente nuevo en percusión, te tomara bastante aprender. Animo, no todo es como se pinta, un buen baterista se define por la limpieza de cada golpe, no por cuantos puede hacer😉

I believe the one year of drumming is over exaggerated. I played every day at least 6 hrs a day and never got that level. I didn't learn that level of stuff until I was at least three to four years in.

Sounds about right, I've only been drumming about a year maybe a little more but I can do the 10 year beat without the fills for short periods.

10 years in this is realistic but even getting to “1 week of drumming” can take longer. As long as you’re having fun with the process and making it your own, then there’s nothing wrong with the pace you learn at :)

This is not accurate, no begginner looks that smooth and has that good of a teqnuiqe in 1 week or month.
I did the one month lvl in only one day. Then, I teached to a friend who did the intermediate between the one week lvl and the one month lvl in one day too, are we just aliens, I don’t think so, so I think this is pretty accurate for musicians, because when I say one day, actually, it’s like 1 or 2 hours

I’m 15 now almost 16 and have improved but not quite to his 10 years yet

The 1 month of drumming is more impressive than the other things because it uses grooves and dynamics. The 10 year is a bunch of easy sticking combinations that I imagine most people could do in 2-3 years of consistent playing/practice
