- The BYU Cougars added another ESPN Top-100 recruit to the BYU men's basketball roster Tuesday with former Stanford Cardinal signee Elijah Crawford signing instead to play at Brigham Young University (BYU) and Jake Hatch says it adds another feather to the already blooming cap of Kevin Young as he goes about building a strong BYU basketball roster.
Jake then took some time to examine where things stand for BYU hoops roster-wise with nine players currently locked in and the potential to add as many as four more players as he dissects what KYU and company need to round out the roster and really become a force to compete in the upper echelons of the Big 12 Conference once again this fall.
Finally, the show wrapped up with news that the Big 12 became the first of 32 Division 1 Conferences to sign off on the NCAA's proposed settlement in the House vs NCAA case that will see millions of dollars in payouts withheld from BYU and other schools while also allocating up to $20 million in direct revenue sharing for BYU Athletics to disperse to their athletes.

Hey Jake. I'm an every day'er and wanted to tell you something that you probably aren't expecting. I lost my hearing in my right ear about a year ago, and I recently got a cochlear implant on that side to try to restore hearing in that ear. The thing is, it sends electrical signals directly to the inner ear, so it's unlike natural hearing and you have to practice with it to learn how to interpret sound again. I listen to your podcast through bluetooth every day to practice. Your speech is really clear and consistent, which is very helpful for me to learn how to hear again through my implant. Thanks for what you do.

Love cougar fans & media, as an outsider you're enthusiasm is infectious, but as a realist the top 6 teams in Big 12 have brought in talent to already talented programs. A top half finish would be fortunate. Anything is possible in the Big 12 as I say that.
