    The thing with “no atc” is that there isn’t any at outposts / landing sites outside of cities / stations in Stanton too.

    I'm not sure where "Beam Citizen" is the direction in which we are headed, or if it's just an easy way to get new mechanics in the game, but is only a placeholder for more direct interactions later when they have the time and tech to support them.

    DG, they don't have ATC at outposts right now, the small little farms and salvage yards just don't want to deal with it - not the developers! 😂

    "Stability" is never and will never be a focus for an "alpha" until the end of development. That's 101 understanding.
    I always think back to CDPR discussing Witcher 3 development; they said the game only became a "game" that didn't break and made sense as a playable product... 3 WEEKS (21 DAYS) BEFORE LAUNCH. The game was developed for years and it only became a game when they got to the 99.9% mark. That discussion has set my expectations for SC, and IMO it should set everyone else's. Yes, it's available to play test in a fairly unique way that no other game dev would ever allow, but that doesn't mean they should be putting the cart (stability) before the horse (content) to appease the play testers.

      Stability is a broad based generality anyhow. To be more specific, dynamic server meshing will bring stability, but primarily is the tech needed to make this game a reality or the promise of what it wants to be, real. The tech they are pioneering the way on is understated and often underestimated by many content creators. Technology is essentially defined as that which changing or progressing and the work Cloud Imperium is doing will lead the way for the entire industry and inspire others to replicate. Good read, my dude.

      @DG360 I agree. The problem is the vernacular for most people to connote with. Stability, semantically, has a general meaning that doesn't fully align well with what should be proper expectations. Nonetheless, your comment is correct; it's the tech to lay the foundation for eventual stability that we all hope for and want.

    The state is optimized for stability already. Normally the Development branch is not as stable as what we have now. Don't forget it is not a released game... ;)

    Are they still saying Pyro is going to be a lot larger system than Stanton and they will be a need to plan your stops for fuel. I had heard at one time the Starliner would come into play more having to take fuel out to rescue players

    Dude, this is a sneak peak into 4.0, so that means server meshing in some capacity will HAVE to be functioning by their own words. We will see, of course. Nonetheless, you can not have everybody stop doing development outside until the Holy Grail tech is done, right?
