What is really going on at Gateway Church?

- I went to Dallas and I also watched the recent church service on July 7th. Here are my thoughts about what is happening and what they can do in order to be a healthy church and move forward. Please pray for those who were hurt and for those who attend Gateway Church. I have been attending Gateway in Southlake for 7 years. This has shocked me and I am so hurt and disappointed and I feel so bad for what Cindy has endured all these years. I too am a victim of this when I was 14 yrs old from a Youth Pastor. I agree that Robert should of been fired not given the opportunity to resign. I don't know what to do at this point because I feel God led me to Gateway and my life has drastically changed from being there. I think all of the elders need to be fired and new ones put in place. These elders have covered up crimes and should no longer be allowed to have their position as such. If this happens and a true Godly man can take over as Pastor, then maybe I will reconsider going back and Gateway will have a chance. We, the congregation are the church! I don't follow man, I follow Jesus. Pray for all of us who have been deceived.
I like what you wrote. How was your life changed from your going to Gateway? This might help or encourage others to visit churches and get saved and get help.
Dude, you're wondering if God still blessed the church even after Morris repented? Really? He never truly repented, when Cindy came and asked to help pay for her counseling bills he refused to pay the full amount he never truly repented.
God may have been generous in giving RM every opportunity to come clean and make amends to Cindy. Robert abused God's graces, and enough was enough!
Yes amen! He should have been fired. Unless he can’t because he is the founder. Also, Cindy said on multiple times she had made it known. In my opinion, the Gateway leadership actively covered it up. Each one of those people should be fired.
Please give link to reference(s) in videos in which she describes her telling Church Board of Directors of what he did to her. I think she told these Boards about what he did to her when the churches were interviewing candidates including Morris for pastor jobs, but I forget where I saw it.

Jesus took all that sin on at the cross. If we say God can't use Robert Morris that is saying Jesus' sacrifice wasn't good enough to cleanse him. None of us are perfect.

Thank you for your time and effort in making this video. I still say thank you for your time, but you are extremely dishonest, you’re just as bad as the lead leadership at Gateway. What I had stated in my previous messages, the absolute truth and you later made a video about rebranding. You need to wake up and smell the frankincense!

Also, does God bless a false teacher like Robert Morris? Just cause if you want to say they were successful doesn’t mean it came from God. He taught more false teaching than the prosperity gospel.

The matter how good of a teacher this guy was does not excuse this mess. He should leave town and never return. They covered this up so the money flow would not be damaged. The money was always the highest priority.

How good a teacher? No, how good a salesman. Tithing is unbiblical and he guilted his followers to become a multi millionaire. Pastor and celebrity shouldn't be in the same sentence. (nor should pedophile 😠)
Even mega churches such as Life Changers in South Barrington or Hoffman Estates, IL preach Godly things but when called upon to help poor & troubled people - you are told by them to just call on the phone to their volunteer counselors and not come in person. Many Mega churches talk the talk but don't walk the walk. I learned this from experience with Pastor Greg Dickow at LifeChangers where I took my wife who wss very distressed and even talking about suicide and really just needed a Christian woman to talk to and get understanding from.

Morris does not fit the biblical qualifications to be a pastor.1Ti 3:2-7 KJV 2 A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach; 3 Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous; 4 One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity; 5 (For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?) 6 Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil. 7 Moreover he must have a good report of them which are without; lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil.
