We have always been dedicated to passing on our knowledge to you the angler, and DVDs give us a unique opportunity to put you on the bank with us, so you can see exactly how we do it!
All of our DVDs are information first and entertainment second. We see no value in you watching us drag in a load of carp from some giant French reservoir with little or no tips on how we did it. In total contrast, you will see there are large sections of all our films without any carp action. We want you to know how we catch and what we catch, and the only way to get this across is to go into far more depth than we ever could in a magazine or on TV.
Each of our films has its own theme. All of them will appeal to a wide range of carp and specimen hunters alike. We have tried to explain things thoroughly without patronising the experienced angler but at the same time made things easy going enough for a complete beginner. There is still no better way to learn unless of course you can get first hand tuition and as we don't even get the time to fish together having a day with anyone else is almost impossible.
Watch carp feed right in front of the cameras in our highly-acclaimed Underwater Series and adapt your rigs to suit the way that these cunning carp feed. Each DVD is brought to you by some of the best carp anglers in the country and includes tips from big-carp anglers such as Simon Scott, Gaz Fareham and Darrell Peck -- you cannot fail to learn.
Sit back, relax and enjoy every moment as you relive these epic carping moments. They'll certainly make you want to go fishing!

As an american, you guys handle your fish way more delicately! Are carp especially sensitive? Or are these common fishing practices in the UK? In the US(when bass fishing) people are way less delicate and some even pull their fish to shore, or on the boat, with the line.

Common fishing practice in the UK and EU, especially for larger fish of which some species like Carp can be 40 or 50 years old so we take care of them as best we can.

Hey you experts, ever thought about a carp is flipping of both fear and not getting oxigen? He is exhausted from the catch and needs oxigen. Compare to catched Koi-Carp - the Koi-dudes dont put them out of the water on a mat like you do... so best is to put the carp into a floating box inside the water, such as the unhooking mat from Poseidon. You can remove the bottom foam from the mat, then only remains a bottom mesh. The mat is like a soft floating box for the carp then and he's getting fresh water and oxigen from below - no temperature problem on sunny days neither. For the photo you quickly lift the carp up and down - no problems with the fins... It is really nice to watch the fish inside the box also for a while and you don't need to worry about him... way better solution then what you show here... some banks are steep of course, then you can't use it that way, but mostly it is possible and works really fine! Cheers from Germany

Not easy to say , I generally base time on length of fight . Fish naturally like us , be out of breath after long fight so return it promptly . If landed quickly , you prolly have more time before returning . My channel NOVICE ANGLER , has tips and vids about various things . Pop over and have a look good sir !

Not that I'm an expert, I'm pretty sure the line should be slack when moving fish with
    the net & rod.

I don't think many carp anglers realize that fish can't breath when you take them out of the water. After fighting the fish and taking it out of the water it's the equivalent to us running a marathon and then putting your head underwater. I think getting the fish back in the water quickly is one of the most important parts of carp care that many people ignore.

Mr. CEO Carp can breathe out of water just not as well as they can in the water. Some fish can survive for hours out of water and comparing a humans respiratory system to a fish isn't right because they are completey different systems.

CEO Fishing I agree . in all these fish care vids , ( and you can imagine macho novice assholes ) fish care feels like a pretense . I don't have any advice . these are living creatures , not a novelty for fucking ego . peace
