Got 13 rides on it over 2.5 Days. It completely lived up to the hype. It is actually in my overall top 5. Europa has the number 1 coaster it lacked previously with the addition of this coaster.

Is it as rattly as they say ?
@@kjell9745 2 of the 7 trains have more of a rattle than the other 5. Inside seat would also help a little if the rattle bothers you. For me it wasn’t a big deal at all
did the ride break down when you were there? i feel like every time im there the rides im queuing break down. waited almost 1.5h on voltron because it broke down 😂
@@LievSchaerer on the third day it broke down a fair amount. During the hour ERT session it had two short issues including a roll back. I didn’t get the rollback but I sat on the turntable for about 3-5 minutes.

but yea i think mack might have issues with maintenance.
The two of you must have been in heaven from a photography standpoint with that thing. The fact you could get up on one of the buildings and in that courtyard gives skilled photographers a lot of different shot opportunities let alone the on ride POVs.
There were so many vantage points! It was also very chaotic because there were trains going at all times so we didn’t know where to point the camera it was happening so fast😂
It's absolutely insane to think Mack has built this, just 10-15 years ago, this would've been unthinkable. Europapark is my home park, and I can't believe that Mack was able to pull something like this and have it in their own park. I absolutely love it, it's filled with violent ejector and massive hangtime, they really outdid themselves.
2:22 Holy cow that drop must have crazy airtime.
There are 2 pretty strong airtime hills on this track. So yes. But the hangtime is much better on this coaster. And the outbank curve is the weirdest and most forcefull Element on this coaster, that gonna suprise you 😅
You get "crazy" airtime on many spots...but yes....at that spot you get very abrupt airtime...but very short....while in other spots you get prolonged ejector air...
@@GeorgeT370the ejector on the two hills was truly phenomenal. Also, if you’re on the right side of the train, you get a nice unexpected pop of ejector on top of the top hat after the turntable

I was just there two days ago (Saturday). Incredible! My thrill-seeking nine year old (coming in at exactly 130cm) also loved it. Europa Park was already great, but this ride puts it over the top. They soooo needed this!
Going next week, my daughter (massive thrill seeker ) is just a smidge over 1.3m so gonna be incredible to get her on this!🎉
One of the top things in my life is to go to Europa Park and ride Voltron honestly, it just looks insane
It truly is. Its so powerful and forceful, that it take you by surprise. Cause this thing is just crazy.
But overall, this park has so many other good coasters, darkrides and stuff, so u will enjoy your stay for sure. Not only for voltron

This is an airtime MONSTER, you just have to have good enough luck to get a smooth train 😭
True....but the middle seats are mostly absolute fine....while on the outer seats it depends...but I loved every ride so far...even the rough ones :-)
@@GeorgeT370 Sadly I couldn't enjoy the two rough rides I had (got one smooth ride) and in single rider I was assigned left wing seat every single time 😭
I love how the launches are suddle throughout the ride to get you through the next element.
They're not.. The first Lauch and the swing launch are super forcefull. They use two parallel rows of lsm motors

i honestly think that mack could be the next intamin. they already make great launch coasters but now are producing elite hypers, xtreme spinners, and these striker coasters which also look great!

With Voltron, toutatis, Kondaa, untamed, the ride to happiness, fly, and Taron it looks like Europe has a better coaster line up than the USA
Lets not forget Gotham city escape, Zadra and Hyperion. But overall, USA lineup is probably still better
also so many of these rides have such incredible theming to go along with them!

Train 5 has been known as the rattle train, just to clarify, Mack and europa park are very well aware of this, they haven’t straightened the seats on 2 of the trains cars, voltron is a very popular ride so it has to run all trains, this issue should be fixed during its off season.

I wish more parks in America built stuff like this. I think a park on the northeast corridor with rides like this would do great. (Somebody please buy six flags America tear it down and build a proper THEME park)
Maybe a certain park called cedar point could of looked to mack for a replacement to top thrill instead of doing what they did. Imagine something like this or a mack spinner right there where top thrill sits. Something that actually ran on a daily basis.
This is a cool ride for sure, but I think Mack should focus on the actual coaster part of their rides, not the new gimmicks. Their track and train designs still uses the same technology as they used on their very first « extreme » coaster now 15 years ago, and it kinda feels outdated nowadays. The track here for example looks somewhat too « skinny » for those bulky trains, which could partially explain the roughness issues which should NOT be normal on a brand new ride, even a prototype (especially since as I said the track/trains are very similar to what they did before). Compare that to Intamin which almost always creates new variations of trains and tracks, and their new rides are pretty much all glass smooth (except maybe their Hot racers, tho they did improve it between the prototype and the second iteration), or Vekoma which took the risk to completely abandon their old track and trains and now make the smoothest rides of the market, in the end, Mack should really try something similar to those manufacturers and begin something new from the ground up I believe.
An interesting point! I would be curious to know from the engineers at Mack if this is something that was considered.
Yeah they have 2-3 trains that are really rough. But they work on it. Some other trains are Butter smooth.

IIRC, the ride is simply called Voltron. Not Voltron Nevera, but the electric launch technology used on this ride is from the Croatian electric supercar maker Rimac, whose main model is the Nevera. Hence, the Nevera part. That said, the Rimac Nevera, and this coaster, both rip. 😁

Is this park easy to get to from the UK? I heard there was a train directly to it, or close to it.
Yes it's easy enough. Fly to Baden Baden. Get a bus outside airport to Baden Baden train station then get on RB26 or RE7 to Ringsheim station then 7231 bus to europa park. If you get on RB26 train you'll need to change at offenburg and get on RE7 wheres if you hop on it from Baden-Baden station it will take you straight to Ringsheim

Not really an "improvement" I would have done. For me it completly takes away the suspense not knowing exactly when the launch will happen.
I agree. I hope they change it. But i heard they gonna improve certain things on and around this coaster. So lets hope this voice over gonna change too

How is Voltron compare to the other Mack roller coasters
it is extremely more powerful, perhaps too much
Way more intense (they really went all out narrowing down the tolerances of what is comfortably rideable). And the pacing is just insane! Like you are thrown from element to element from start to finish. The only real breathing spots are stall, turntable and midcourse… I love it! But I can unterstand that for some people it might be a bit too much 😂
Edit: And you have to take into account that the ride duration (with this insane pacing in regard) is just stupid long 🙈

Yes!
One downfall of the model is I'm not sure there's many parks out there that are capable of maintaining and operating a coaster like this. Imagine how much of a nightmare this thing will be in 10-15 years with all it's moving parks, launches, spin tables, drop tracks etc. So really only your major parks. I guess those are the only parks that could afford it anyways and I suppose there's not much keeping them from scaling it down. This coaster almost does it all though.
