I have heard that there are different mris. I had an MRI with contrast, which they put into the vein of my arm. I’ve heard that there’s an mr arthrogram where the contrast goes into the actual joint. So, I’m assuming mine was not an arthrogram because the injection didn’t go into the joint. It went into the vein of my arm?
I’ve complained for years about my left shoulder, did the conservative way with PT and anti inflammatory medicine and nothing. I finally got my MRI and MRI results back. I have an appointment with a sports medicine doctor in about 2.5 weeks to talk about my results. Just a quick FYI I’ve played baseball all my life, started pitching at 13 and I’m currently 32.
