liking a character and having mad hours but not ranking up w them is too real
I'm stubborn😂
i have over 75% of my hrs on genji and i cant get out of gold
@@phillycheese8717 type shi bro i spend most of almost all my time on doom and im hard stuck silver
This is so real as a master genii this is true I always feel targeted and it takes so much more effort than any other hero lol

Dude your editing style is hilarious and i can tell a lot of time was put into it, Keep the videos coming.
Also tip from a genji main, genjis dash is detrimental to winning duels, so never use it to take high ground, thats what his wall climb is for.
Thanks for the kind words and that’s a good point🙏
9:25 bros saying cover while in the direct open😂😂😂
@user-nt3tg7gk2m yeah what am I saying 😭😭😭 I didn’t notice that
@@xpopheadx wow suprised you replyed but dive this season is a lil better I’m having the same sort of luck as you with tracer so the series might get easier
@user-nt3tg7gk2m that’s good to hear I’m also seeing lots of success with dive this season 🙏
Number 1 genji tip is hold down shurriken fan as you dash them melee like as soon as you shoot
Ahh that’s a good point 🫵😗
Tbh genji doesn’t feel that bad this season, I think all he really needs is a damage increase to his ult then he’s in a good spot cause while the swing speed buff is nice it still feel like you need nano if you wanna get actual value
W video, def earned a sub
I agree, I’ve been playing genji since the beta but ow2 is such a massive disappointment I can hardly play it. Regardless I come back from time to time to play and noticed he swings faster but doesn’t feel like he’s getting any utility, just about everyone has 50 more hp… it’s more difficult to get some real value outta his ult
Fellow plat genji here. Love your content. Just wanted to give you some advice. When I was playing consistently I hit diamond. Two things got me there. Left clicking (poking) more and knowing who I can dive or duel. Gotta adjust play style to their comp and figure out who you can duel the most.
Keep it up bro you got this!
Prime example: In one of your games you spent a lot of time shotgunning the Pharah. When there was a kiriko and even junkrat that you could’ve bothered the most.
Bro, this is so real. Genji is my favorite hero and the one I have the most hours in but I can do everything on someone like Reaper so much easier and get tons more value it’s honestly stress-inducing half the time to just win. Additionally I play on 1600 dpi with 3.7 sens. Have no idea if that’s too high or too low, it’s comfortable for me and I can 180 pretty consistently. Keep up the good work with the videos! Really enjoyable to watch
Sick Video dude, I appreciate the way you edit your vids! Keep it up :D
yessirrrrr
Honeslty your dedication is insane, i gabe up on genji after less than 5 hours
You’re valid tho
Amazing video like always
ping the goat!😎
You have inspired me to do a genji run. As a junkrat main it just ain't happening this season. I was going to commit tracer but I've always wanted to use my gold genji blade that I've never used.
IS THAT STRAWBERRY POP BY OCO IN THE BGG ?? also bro i literally jus found u n ur funny as hell def subscribing :3
ur a real one😎
shake my hand
5:48 bro this happened to me on the Rhine, I was damn surprised because the distance between us was large.
the hook has reach fr!
the new projectile size bs made genji wayy more effective in neutral,so much easier to land shots with but at the cost of no more one shot with nano blade :( (use ur melee more often when ur close headshot melee does a lot of dmg).
Noted. Also welcome back bro 🫵😯
@@xpopheadx i never left
Genji spread shot is so easy to hit rn because of the projectile changes makes him super fun and not as hard
Keep it up! 1 day u will become better!
some tips (pause)
-there’s no reason not to fan attack before every animation or ability and i mean right before so quick that it looks like the shurikens just spawned
-when your in the air dash at someone’s feet and look up so you don’t have to constantly turn around after dashing through them
-when you dash up for ult, jump once so you can save your double jump while looking for people in the air
-the best combos for low hp is dash at feet and melee (remember always fan attack before every ananamation)
also deflect is good for disengaging, get your pick and deflect until you can dash back to team
THIS MAN IS CONSTANT THIS YEAR🙏🏿
This is what I do Fr 🫸🏿🔴🔵🫷🏿🫰🏿🫴🏿🟣
Good choice of music, KEEP IT UP BRUDAH

We need more “Vs Everyone” content 🤣
Another amazing video
Glad you enjoyed it

How to play genji
Don't
Be in they're back line 24/7
😎😎😎
as long as you can do a 180 with your sens and dpi you can use whatever, also in the genji specific settings you can change the sens only when you blade so you can make it faster or slower depending.
i've been thinking about changing some settings for blade purposes
this video is so fun :D
It was fun to make😭
Love the vids keep it up 😄🍍
More to come 🫵😯
wow bro nice editing
Thanks😎
Genji tip his left click is underrated you should try to use it a bit more as his right click is harder to hit from long range and the right click is a lot better close(should help with the pharahs)
Bro ur so underrated
2100 dpi with 16% in game. my anatomy allows me this privilege
THATS CRAZYY😂
I would check out some of the spilo coaching vids if you want to get a lot better at the character.
As for what I see as your biggest issue is aggression without escapes. Some people call it pathing. As Genji you either want someone, usually tank to bait attention so you can kill someone or you are baiting attention so your team can kill someone. You seem fine at the former, but the latter not so much. Think about what angle you want to hold and what to do if things go south (do I have a wall climb escape options, do I deflect and back out, if on highground do I drop, do I dash out because of beams, etc.) and if you are going to play aggressive how do I live. Lot of it comes from experience but highground is your friend and if you are going to die you want it to cost a lot of cooldowns to confirm the kill.
TL:DL you should learn to live more and make sure you do not play aggressive without all your cooldowns available.
All that aim training for nothing season nine got us averaging 54% accuracy
Frfr😭
lover it

Bro new Genji series let’s go it’s gonna be a long road to play but we gonna get there
Long haul fr
Love the vids, and as a genji main since overwatch 1 first came out, you aren't doing too bad. I would like to point out that 4 sensitivity is probably too slow for Genji. Whenm you are doing fast dashes aand blades, you want around 8 to 9 sens.
maybe even a little bit lower but id stop around 6
Fair Fair
as well as usiong fan more i would say
Valid 🙏
I feel like it's fine. S9 doesn't require necros style nanoblade blitz. You can't do that anymore.
Change it to whatever you're comfortable with and rely on your own intuition as to if it is too fast/slow (missing vs can't turn around).
dawg sens doesnt matter that much unless it's absurdly high or low, you just gotta get used to it. And btw if you get used to a lower sens you can turn it up slowly over time and get used to a sens that u want
Honestly season 9 genji feels really good. Just not his ult.
i agree
his ult is way better now. The changes made dry blade better but nano blade worse and it feels way more consistent. The past seasons genji felt unplayable but he’s now becoming my main again slowly especially after getting gm back
New pop head vid dropped les go
Yurrrrr
You could also go back to tracer. The meta is great for her in season 9 with the passive healing.
tracer pt2 would be dope!
She is really strong with the 25 hp buff as she cant get one shot by ashe and other things and with the health passive after 5 seconds, she is insanely strong. I thought she would be awful because it would be so much harder to get kills but i was completely wrong. Sojourn is also one of, if not the best, character right now because her projectiles are the size of boulders. But because im a tracer main, i would love to see a part 2 of tracer! Love the content btw!@@xpopheadx
Another day another genji vid
(Honestly as a genji main for a year now it's honestly super relatable all the way through besides me being on console of course)
Still gold 3 by the way (made it plat with reaper once that intro with the cass thing is so real)
its tough out here. being a genji main is a full time job at this point🤕
@@xpopheadx plus with this new patch three slashes needed for one kill is crazy💀 (they just like torturing your boy fr fr)
I CAN FEEL IT LOL😂
Please do genji 100 to 200 hours. I will literally do anything to see that.
🫵😗
Nice video
Thank you i appreciate it 🤝
Idk what you talking about, I play Genji and Reaper and it feels like they are equally strong in the same scenarious for different reasons.
3:36 I see you with that under night in birth music
🫵😗
early but im in class watching a banger🔥
Bro let me shake your hand 🤝
3:20 if you know what it means"
I recently just hit my 100 hour mark on Genji and needless to say I have been relating to damn near all of your Genji video's with this one being no different cause I felt 7:14 here too much, there be just them Genji specific traps i swear. 😔
Also as a side note for me personally, I think 12.25 as a Genji sens is a bit slow. I have my sens at 18.50 and that has been working fine with me, I hate getting lost after a dash because of the camera lock so a high sens to quickly look around to get my surroundings and also additionally find who I dashed at works well to hit quick shuriken's I otherwise would have missed by being at a low sens
Genji takes time to actually get good at (100 hours isnt alot) thats why theres very few genji mains in top 100+, also genji is one of the best dps rn hes top5
You should make a rainbow six siedge video as u do play it and it is a popular game
When are you gonna upload again?
Maaaaaaaa dudeeeeeee where is the new videoooooooooooo been waiting for 3 decades.
I’ve made my return🤝
I love ur video also
i have a video idea... 1vs1 my subscribers (genji only) i would love to do that btw
This needs to happen 😭
fr@@xpopheadx
Hey, could you mabye do 24 hours of sigma, that would be fun to watch, thanks if you do
I feel like your offense is a little backwards… there’s a bunch of times where you should primary fire and you use your alt fire… an individual shuriken doesn’t hurt much and from anywhere other than close(ish) range it just won’t be worth it
i think you should hold onto your cooldowns more, and instead of dashing in if it doesnt do any damage to the target i wouldnt recomend it and try to save deflect to get out of a bad situation
W vid
Yurr
Ur genji is interesting
Gold is elo hell for dedicated mains.
Btw is this NA?
Yes and yes 😭😭😭
@@xpopheadx damn I'm in EU I also play genji but I could pocket you.
So uhh, you saw my comments about playing junk and after season 9... U really should not do it, OR maybe do it for the extra challenge. Either way, it would be extremely painful for u as he can only one shot tracer and widow
LOLLLL
is it really that bad?
YES. The one shot combo is basically the one thing junk can do and u gotta hit 2 shots and a mine or two mines and one shot. its bad@@xpopheadx
nah that's messed up😂 undeserved
I mean honestly he is dogshit right now which is sad as he is one of the most fun characters in the game@@xpopheadx
does he know the one hit combo?
low sens genji is not the way brother
Opinions on the twomad situation?
he was a bad dude that probably needed help.
@@xpopheadx real
1400 dpi 8.18 ingame so i would say its to low for genjii
I probably play around with sens again my blade feels slow

bro, idk how you learned editing and yt stuff, but just try to learn genji the same way you learned that and your genji will improve like hiroshima, like holy shit what was this slopplay
Lol, 2nd view
lmao
Ok, so you need help. Like serious help. You are in Gold because, at the moment, your gameplay is gold. Generally it isn't mechanics letting you down, you just need a better idea of when a bad play is a bad play. No 1 advice is watch the death cam to see the enemy POV - why did you not escape?
With that in mind, this comment is looking a bit miserable so I'll do my best to give some contructive feedback.
2:17 You blame this on the keybind switch. I'll give it to you, that definitely didn't help, but you also used your dash cooldown to end up face to face with a widow, mercy AND ashe. You dove without having any infomation as to who was up their and what resources they had (cooldowns, health, knowledge of your position etc.) Theoretically if you are a ninja then maybe you hit the dash+secondary+melee combo on the widow and can dash to safety. Let's be real, no one below GM can do that consistently. One genji with no dash *shouldn't* win against two dps + support.
2:26 You again use your dash cooldown to get to the widow. Why is this not a bad play but the last one was? It's simple: the widow was alone (which you probably knew) and once you had no mobility cooldown, both you and the widow are out of LOS of the teams so you can secure the kill. Yes, you hit your shots there, but the kill was because the widow was unaware you were about to dive her and you capitalised on this by making a great play.
2:31 Again, using your dash cooldown to get to the enemy. But this is also a great play. Why? You had basically won the teamfight already, and the Illari couldn't get help from anyone significant. Even if you missed everything or the mercy outhealed you, you wouldn't have died so it was a great dive.
2:47 What on Earth are you doing here?!? How did you get here? Why are you here? What do you help to gain from being here? Anyway your team had lost so it's not a big deal - I was just very suprised to see you in the middle of enemy territory. I don't know what led up to it, so I don't actually know if it's a bad play or not, but if you *hadn't* died there on the way out, then something is wrong.
2:53 You do have a deflect ability... Anyway it doesn't matter as the fight is lost and the round is over regardless. But maybe you would have got the Orissa and not been as sad.
3:17 You're in the backline with no dash. Very dangerous. You get punished for it, but you can still escape with one of two options: don't fudge your mechanics to get over the tree and wall (dangerous as the zarya might still get you); or go into the room to your right. If the zarya chases you, then she'll have to leave the teamfight for a bit. Also your dash is on 2s remaining, so if you into the room to break LOS for even a second then you should have time to dash out of range towards the healthpack.
3:28 Dance, boogie wonderland!
3:37 Shooting a full health, fortified Orissa is like trying to tunnel through a mountain by hand. If you are genji, it's with a toothpick.
3:45 Oh dear. Just watch this from the point of view you gave us in the video. No dash, no cover, whole enemy team can look at you. Bad play.
3:49 "I had him" Lifeweaver had his petal, making him difficult to dive. Illari was looking at him. Illari had a pylon that could heal him. You didn't have him. Not if the enemy team has braincells.
3:57 This is an interesting situation. You use your dash to get to the LW (Notice how I keep bringing this up. It's an important thing to note while playing as every time you do it you are comitting. Be aware of that in-game) This is a good play - there aren't any other targets and the area is completely separate from the enemy so no one can help him *and more importantly no one can shoot you*. Lifeweaver runs - you have denied him the space where he wanted to be. You chase him into fairly open space, but it's fine because your doomfist is there and only the illari can support the LW.
4:09 You didn't use your dash to attack the hanzo when you knew he was unkillable. This is a great play (or great lack of play?). You then *walk* up to him, saving your cooldown, then dash onto him so you don't get instantly headshot. These are both good - just keep in mind that you'll be out of LOS of your supports and depending on how long ago enemies died they might return via your exposed backside. The dive goes wrong and you need to try to survive. A nice mechanical tip here is to use short wallclimbs to stay in the air a bit longer (and avoid the reaper) as well as be even more unpredictable as you can do it at any point in your fall.
You acknowledge that you need to dash out, but die for it. Instead, you should have noticed earlier that reaper has come to help hanzo and with LW heals suddenly available, he won't be easy to kill and he will likely randomly headshot you, so you should retreat as it is high-risk-medium-reward. The survival then dash was great, but it was in the wrong direction. If you went to your right, then you would have escaped. Yes, this is even deeper into enemy territory, but you put a wall between you and the enemies, you have a healthpack, and if you get pursued then the enemies need to leave the teamfight giving your side an edge on point.
4:25 You see the ult coming, and hold onto your dash to escape it. This is fantastic (and way above Gold thinking). You then ult to try and turn it around. Fine decision, but you really should have deflected against that reaper. Just one shot would have been enough fo you to win that exchange. Or at least escaped. Running with blade still up feels awful, but at least you survive.
4:39 I can't tell if you miss, or if reaper wraiths at just the right moment. Either way your thinking to deflect is solid, but with 137 health reaper can't oneshot you at that range so you should have waited until wraith ended.
Second round starts really well. If you watch it, it should be obvious what you did right. You dove people and during the dive were out of LOS of the rest of the enemy team. Good job.
5:09 Tunnel vision. That bap had a lifeweaver helping him, you are in front of the ENTIRE enemy team. I know he was close to death, but you let that tempt you into a making a play which nearly got the enemy an opening pick (in higher ranks you die there). Don't do that.
5:27 A very valuable insight. Turning your brain off is so so easy to do in this game - but autopilot is generally not going to get good results.
The blade after was nice. The edit was fantastic.
6:06 Holy moly don't do that to me. CLIMB the wall. CLIMB it. You start the 1v1 without your best cooldown, and then it quickly becomes a 2v1 when pharah turns around. You *do* salvage it by using your other cooldown to back out deflecting, which buys you your life. Unfortunately you then give it up again immediately. Watch that bit again. You walk in a straight line onto point, and then keep walking. Where are you going? What is your plan?
Anyway that was the first two games. I'll stop there. I hope it doesn't come off as patronising, because I genuinely want to give helpful feedback. Regardless, this was a banger video with fantastic pacing, humour and edits. 10/10 would watch again just to write a massive comment detailing gameplay tips.
It makes sense that cass is easier for you - you have great gamesense when it comes to cooldowns and teamfight territory (giving/taking space) as shown by the Orissa ult prediction. Just genji is harder. You need to think so much more and he has his own niche strategy which can't be imported from other characters. Cass can sit in main or an off angle and blast away with less high-octane split-second decision making.
My main advice for your genji play would be this: think about where you end up during and after the dive. This includes escape routes, cover and friendly/enemy teammates.
