yes mate, take out the one and it will still handle well although if your casting into a head wind and its slightly over loaded you may get a little fluffing on the way out (and that's not wind ;) they are great reels and will last you years....
cheers lads bought a slosh 20 the other day after watching you lads casting with it and its casting like a dream .i'm using two of the red break blocks supplied in the box. does it cast better with one removed ?
Thanks for the reply...got a 30 coming if it ever gets delivered...new to multipliers...dont suppose you guys are thinking of a tuning a Slosh vid? Thanks
sorry for late reply, been working in London and just seen this along with 65 other emails :) either reels are great, although the 30 is better for heavier lines and deep water the 20 is probably the best all rounder in my opinion :) good luck with your choice i am sure you will be more than happy with either, Gareth
I was just going to ask the question of the difference between the 20/30, but you answered it for me. Good banter between you two. You two are a danger to shipping with the distance you can cast :) tight lines lads.
What brake blocks are you using in the Slosh for hitting those big casts? I always tend to err on the safe side and put the red ones in my SLX20SHA and also in my 7HT. Interested to know what you are using?
not much point to be fair, they are pretty good out of the box although check it has break blocks fitted, best bet take it to your local tackle shop and get them to open up the side plate just to save a whole world of pain! :) good luck and enjoy :)
hi the 30 is more suited to boat work bit harder to handle the 20 is more for casting best reel i bought is the 20 in fact just bought a second and sold all my abus and penns should have bought a 20 first
in all fairness they cast equally as well, although the 20 is slightly smaller its more user friendly for the beach, I have 4 20's and the 1, 30 :) hope your enjoying the vids, check out our sharking and wrecking vid on here from Milford Haven, also on FB :)
Best reels I've ever bought heartily recommend them to anyone especially the 20sh
Best reel ever invented in my opinion.
One of the all time greats defo
RIP STEVE YOU HERO 💙

Hi Gareth, i'm going for some rock fishing in ireland and i'm just wondering if you would recommend the sl20sh or the sl30sh???
how much is it to fix a slosh 20 multiplyer
Other than size is there much difference performance wise with the Slosh 20 v Slosh 30?
how long are those rods
So is this a good casting reel ?
18 months later, still reelling in mate

the grips need to be locked into position for casting as they will not work in the tide if you dont :)
